Not gonna lie, when I first saw this I teared up a bit, even now i'm still tearing up, this brings back so many of memories of my school life even if for a little, i'm in 12th grade and pretty soon i'll be graduating so this really hit hard for me when I saw Sanae reflecting on the times she and the others were in school reminds me so much of the memories I still have back in Elementary, Intermidiate, Middle and even Pre-School, so many fun moments and fun people to be around even though some cause a ruckus, it's still fun to be around all the more even though people who leave High-School sometimes beleive that the happiness ends there, it doesn't you'll find something to keep you happy, you just have to find that something, this reminded me of that life lesson

Why can't you keep the ability to have big eyes, that have hope inside them, unconventional beliefs, that aren't explainable, while still knowing how to be responsible... Why... With the representation of Sanae's return to Gensokyo, her maturity, the change in time implied by the growth, and the feelings of nostalgia with respect to her interactions with the residents of Touhou, the viewer may safely assume that Sanae will have an enjoyable, cathartic reunion with the rest of the residents of Gensokyo upon her arrival.
Out of context this would have very different meaning... A girl going through the halls of her old school filled with magical beings and having fun with them as a child, but now they're not here anymore due to her being older. Maybe due to her imagination fading away before she remembered it or in a more tragic sense, they died somehow.
Mmmmm. Looks like the opposite. Kanako and suwako would be those imaginary friends she continues to hold on to even through adulthood. And the school just made her remember them.
My own tidbit, it's not necessarily people died, but I imagined that many of her friends aren't the same anymore or that people drift apart. I can't imagine making the same friends I did in school as I do in real life. Such childishness, was a warm welcome back then but now.... Man, life does suck at these points.
I agree with you that as children we had a lot of optimism about the future of society but my optimism on modern society died in 2016 due to my favorite grandpa passing away and several other factors that I will not mention due to not wanting to offend anyone and the possibility of TH-cam having a rule when it comes to the topics that killed my optimism on modern society.😭🥺😔😓😥😒

その場所に行ってみたのですがお地蔵さんがあって、御札で貼り付けてありました。そこの周辺の方に聞いてみたのですが入ったら二度と帰られないと聞きました。そこのお坊さんかな？その人に話をもっと聞いてみたのですが約10年前一人の少年がそこの幻想郷に通じる道に入ってしまったようで行方不明になってしまいました。警察が捜査をしたのですが、そこの扉は開けられなかった見たいです。かすかにその少年の痕跡はあったみたいです。信じられないと思う方いるかも知れないと思うのですが事実です。絶対に幻想郷の扉を開き中に入っては行けません。帰って来れなくなります。幻想郷と言っても東方Projectみたいな可愛いキャラではなくて、違う人間じゃなくて妖怪など東方のキャラ全員居なくて、死の通じる道だったと考えると怖いですね。もしかしたらすると幻想郷があるかも知れません。
場所についてですが、辺塚神社の周辺です。
