there's no shot that's all done by hand. at least in blender, you can animate stuff based on expressions so that's probably what they did here. still, it's a very impressive thing to do, especially since it's in 3D, and not 2D like in the games.
@@tabbune try about 95% lol. I can easily make glowing object clusters in blender. Probably not as fancy, but can be done. Then it would take hours for it to render frame by frame.
This is afar best of all animation I ever watched of MinusT. I usually don't write down in comments in any of video of TH-cam, but this deeply shocked me of this detailed scenes and mind-stinging arrangement of piano and beautifulness of spell cards... Dude, I deeply respect to that you can express that all in full volume and all spectrum of emotions of all of this fight, as hell... Correlating to your almost 10 year ago work with Reimu vs Yuyuko and with this. Its truly incredible and unfathomable... Be short. I cried in this 2:20 and 3:39 moment and i guess all too...
The visuals were absolutely stunning! That said, I had trouble connecting the music to what I was seeing. With how aggressive the danmaku battle is, the trailing piano doesn’t quit mesh.

This whole video was amazing but the arrangement choice for yuyuko’s theme OH MY GOD ITS SO BEAUTIFUL it really captured the beauty and the backstory of her so well. AND NOW to wait three years for that touhou IN video!

This is like a reimagined of your past work combine. Some scenes from "vs Yuyuko" amination can be observed here but with more story telling elements. The 3:35 scene is just sad but also beautiful. Having both protagonists present also giving feeling of "vs Yukari" animation.
Everytime when Minust uploads, you know it's gonna be GOD TIER. And everyone's waiting patiently, knowing how difficult it is to create masterpieces like this. Minust is literally Krinkels if he had a sharp sense of aesthetics.
I'm sure you worked your butt off to try and get this out for the 20th anniversary of PCB. The transition was fantastic and it's nice to see an updated Yuyuko model.
Sublime. I still remember, more than a decade later, the first time I 1cc'd PCB on Lunatic. Humming that IOSYS song to Doll Judgement, redirecting Youmu's noncards, powering through the infamous ghost knives, the sense of relief upon getting to Hirokawa (a free card even here), and that final exhilarating battle against each wave of Resurrection Butterfly. Thank you, ZUN, for making the games that brought so many of us together in this community, and thank you minusT for breathing new life into them in a way that none else can match.

Yes I feel like the music really fit the scene where she sees herself when she was alive, but does not fit the danmaku battle
You forget MinusT left it behind,. But when you see it again, all the memories resurge through your mind and gave you THAT feeling.

これのフルバージョン（？）が１０年前なのが感慨深い。あれからもう１０年たってたのか・・・エフェクトの質が大きく上がっていてめちゃくちゃ綺麗になりましたね。
幽々子の弾幕に見とれる役が霊夢から魔理沙になってるのも良き。
ただ時間が無かったのか一部の弾幕の量がちょっと減ってて寂しく感じる部分もありましたが、カメラワークで原作の弾幕だと分かりやすくなってたのも良かったです。

そして、minusTさんが描く幽々子様も一番好き。
