I usually don't write down in comments in any of video of TH-cam, but this deeply shocked me of this detailed scenes and mind-stinging arrangement of piano and beautifulness of spell cards... Dude, I deeply respect to that you can express that all in full volume and all spectrum of emotions of all of this fight, as hell... Correlating to your almost 10 year ago work with Reimu vs Yuyuko and with this. Its truly incredible and unfathomable... Be short. I cried in this 2:20 and 3:39 moment and i guess all too...
1:52 i like how that part looks like the games with the top down perspective, also it almost makes me want to see a co-op touhou game where two or maybe more players work together to beat stages

This is like a reimagined of your past work combine. Some scenes from "vs Yuyuko" amination can be observed here but with more story telling elements. The 3:35 scene is just sad but also beautiful. Having both protagonists present also giving feeling of "vs Yukari" animation.
The visuals were absolutely stunning! That said, I had trouble connecting the music to what I was seeing. With how aggressive the danmaku battle is, the trailing piano doesn’t quit mesh.
there's no shot that's all done by hand. at least in blender, you can animate stuff based on expressions so that's probably what they did here. still, it's a very impressive thing to do, especially since it's in 3D, and not 2D like in the games.
@@tabbune try about 95% lol. I can easily make glowing object clusters in blender. Probably not as fancy, but can be done. Then it would take hours for it to render frame by frame.
Everytime when Minust uploads, you know it's gonna be GOD TIER. And everyone's waiting patiently, knowing how difficult it is to create masterpieces like this. Minust is literally Krinkels if he had a sharp sense of aesthetics.
A very impressive retreading of past work, feels very subdued in comparison. The run time limits the choreography of danmaku, and the cuts don't fully smooth it over. That won't stop me from loving it, I want to see it have the full run time it needs.
MinusT has come such a long way to. Their earlier animations were a bit rough but had charm and quality all around. The first video I watched was Marisa vs Flandre. To date, the scene where she chases Marisa through the dark room is among the best shots MinusT has made. I hope to another where I get to see MinusT
This whole video was amazing but the arrangement choice for yuyuko’s theme OH MY GOD ITS SO BEAUTIFUL it really captured the beauty and the backstory of her so well. AND NOW to wait three years for that touhou IN video!
2:40 is still haunting me today. I reached last stage for the first time in my no CC normal run and throw everything in her "last spellcard" and was like "HELL YEAH, FINALLY CAN CLEAR TOUHOU WITH NO CC" I didn't. lol
This is actually what I love so much about danmaku games, and especially Touhou. The attacks are beautiful and totally mesmerizing. Just witnessing the attacks themselves is beautiful. And dodging the attacks is like a dance, you're dancing with the bullets. I love it so much!
It's very touching that minusT has recreated a work from 10 years ago with the new Blender technology. this is the touhou barrage. Overall, it can be said that the "picture quality" has improved significantly, but the "show" have indeed regressed BTW, when are you going to finish your work of Eternal Night?
I am in tears on how amazing this looks for the both the music and animation on my favourite touhou boss in my experience. So pretty, elegant and everything it was a treat to watch albeit unexpected too considering 8 was being worked on.

I can't even begin to think about the patience needed to anime every individual one of the danmaku particles/bullets all by hand
there's no shot that's all done by hand. at least in blender, you can animate stuff based on expressions so that's probably what they did here. still, it's a very impressive thing to do, especially since it's in 3D, and not 2D like in the games.
@@fcantilit must take a horrifying amount of time to render all that. Pretty sure particle effects are taxing to render.
