Best video with enough light and close up to the small parts and explain slowly! I had hard time to pull out the wire from the mirror and afraid to broke it! I only need to replace the cover! No other video show close up on the wire and screws!

You the man because all I want to do is replace the cover housing because I chipped the edge and cracked it on housing....but she just showed me how just to remove housing. I will definitely do a video to follow up on yours.
Super helpful video. The lock washer on my passenger mirror has slipped up and makes the motor run like mad for the first 30 seconds it's on, it's gotten so bad it flops around now. Between this video and the one I've seen for a GS or some other Lexus I should be able to get this pinned. Your probably fixed it by now but basically you gotta get that motor housing off, push that washer down on the spring, use zip ties to preload that springs, it's a sonuvabitch, and either in JB weld it in place or I've seen some folks use a cotter pin, but Im not sure if that's OEM or not.
@@theopunisher3021 hello, I have an LS430 with the drivers mirror that doesn’t respond to the mirror adjusting button. But the passenger side mirror works with the mirror adjuster. Do the right and left mirror have separate contact point to the mirror adjuster? What are the contacts that i need to clean and how do you clean them? Thank you !
@@djc24 open the little tray just under the mirror control so you can grab the mirror control panel with your hand, give it a good yank it should come away. Then disconnect all electrical switches and put contact cleaner spray in them. Should do the work , did that to mine and no more problem ( my right mirror was working not my left one)

That’s something else , take the mirror adjusting button out (inside the car next to your steering wheel) and give it some contact cleaner , done
