My favorite show of all time. I always try to get people who have never seen this to watch it, and when they do they are so glad that they did. The only problem is that, after experiencing six feet under, your standards for what a TV show should be are raised extremely high and you can't help but compare everything else to it -_-
Yesterday, I went to the house where they filmed this and it was gorgeous. And even after all this time, I still wasn't the only one there because of the show!
Whoever is a funeral director I say to you that your profession is one of the noblest in the world and you have nothing to be ashamed of or feel embarrassed about. No, your not creepy or weird or ANY OF THAT! Sorry I getting choked up right now. I lost my grandmother in 1998 to cancer. It was the hardest moment in my life. But you all were there, and did your job in the most profound of ways. And to that I say: Thank You :(
I believe I am watching this series for... must be 30-35 times now. I get to the end and I have to see the start again. And, I am still seeing things I never caught before. I've read all the comments and agree with them. But I'll say it again. Six feet Under is and will always be the greatest television show ever. No question.
I always have to hold off on the last few episodes of the final season when I rewatch the series because the episode of Nate's funeral completely guts me emotionally
@@42awwwt can't be true . Who watch a series 30-35 times regardless of how much we love the show . I think it's an extreme over exaggeration of 3-5 times or I maybe wrong tho
@@itsbonkerjojo9028 I wish I was exaggerating. I was injured and out of work for 4 yrs. I just kept watching it over and over again. I'd get to the end, and had to play it from the start bc it was if I was part of the family. Not healthy I know..
Thank you so much for the download. This is in my opinion, the best show produced on television. The acting was fantastic, but I think the discipline of the writers is what put this show over the top above other show that have since wrapped up. Lot of shows have all the advantages going for them to be better than they end up being, but end up dropping the ball for a variety of reasons.
They have more chemistry than any fictional couple I've ever seen, and I'm straight and I've never even really been into love stories. The love they share is absolutely beautiful. If a homophobe watches this whole show and still has a problem with gay people they're simply not human
The baby episode was HARD. The line that always stuck with me was the grandparents who lived far away. The mom said, “They never got to meet him. Now it’s almost like they did.” That got through even to selfish, self-centered 19 or 20 year old me. Now in middle age with nieces and nephews who live far away…. Oh my god. That line.
It's become something of a cliche to say a series takes you on a journey but that exactly what SFU did a totally immersive experience with the best writing acting and direction you could wish for I think it was when we in the UK thought for the first time 'hey American tv is now better than ours' the ending leaves me a weeping mess every time I see it.
Me neither...she clearly went after Nate knowing full well he was married with baby on the way! Who does that?? Of course he was at fault too, but she was much worse.

I think he made a lot of progress, and that was just one part of him that came from his father, and in my opinion his loving side ended up winning in the end because he loved David and his kids so much. Idk I get what you're saying but every main character has flaws, and as far as Keith goes he's one of the least fucked up people in the show imo, like Ruth and Nate are way more unlikable imo but even they have a lot of redeeming qualities and I still care about their characters

This show is a masterpiece
The leftovers c: you should watch it
It's so brilliant
Bloody Hetza the Leftovers is nothing remotely comparable to this show.
good comment bro.

Best show ever on television. Hands down.

I loved this series so much when it was running
Best show ever
I can binge this from beginning to end... Anytime .. love it
we ned a new six feet under series
thing is it should be just as good as this one
difficult
The most amazing show ever produced❤ I'm so sorry that it ever went off the air
I am glad they didn't cower in not showing baby/toddler/child. It happens and people need to accept it.
David and Keith, the most beautiful gay couple I ever wanted to be real ever
I'm not even gay but I found the love between David and Keith so very sweet

The writing was awsum
Life - Love - Loss.. Bless.
The show taught me a lot. I thought it was incredibly tactful and loving.
Acceptance is far more worthy than the denial. Face the realities of life and death, this show helps to make it.
I miss nate
Grief is the price we pay for love

I wanted my dad's funeral to go out with a bang. He had a 15 car police car procession along with former Agents of the US Secret Service
The hold this show has on me….
💗
Its fine now :)
I couldn't stand Maggie

@@lisadc4681 exactly. And her little mousy shy quiet personality made her seem fake to me
