Of course the second season is terrific but there is something in the first season, that subtle sadness she feels for Boo that we even get to feel empathic about but we do not really deep dive into it at first, especially because Fleabag's personality deflects it by making fun of the everyday life, so it gets a little bit unnoticed. But when you know how the season ends and rewatch the first season, man... it is the fucking saddest thing ever. Imagine how it is to live with this.
I totally understand. I think rewatching both seasons is a must do to fully understand the motivations of Fleabag and her coping mechanisms throughout the show.
