    Literally the perfect review. Detailed as hell and you compared it with the other mics I was weighing it against. Thanks man.

    Great video and an honest review! I've just got this as I'm looking to start streaming, I also figured out how to use this on PS5 alongside my wireless headset so it can work together without using the microphones headphone jack port. All I did was connect my headphones then in settings at Audio Output you turn off "Switch Output Device Automatically" then connect your microphone up then on microphone settings change input device to the Torch microphone and then you have both working with eachother! Hope that helps anyone with that problem! 😁

    I have watched a lot of TH-cam reviews of this mic and your review was the best because you mentioned things that others did not. Good job. I'm very impressed with this video (as well as other videos that you have made). You are doing a great job!

    Awesome review. Appreciated that you compared it to other mics, friends always complain of the sound quality cause I use a Razer headset with a built-in mic so hopefully the Torch will finally shut them up about it.

    That's an outstanding video! thanks for sharing! :) .. Sorry for that, but an idea just crossed my mind and I decided I need to comment it! My mind wondered, how come there is so many people who are really good and natural in reviewing tech! Have a great day and thanks again! :)

    Hello! If you could help me with some suggestions, that would be awesome?!
    I bought that mic, but it sounds even worse than my headphones mic :/
    In words like: sometimes, something, that's, because... Those letters are popping like crazy! Idk what's wrong rly?! I'm using obs studio, i tried to set up some details through compressor, expander and those filters, but I'm not getting even close to that sound without popps after every 2nd word?! Changed pickup patterns as well, distance, and what not.
    Btw, your content is great, keep it up with great work bro. All the best and Thx in advance 🍻

    Great vid, does it need usb C on the computer too (would it work with an adaptor to old usb 2/3 interface?). Thx

      Standard USB type A is fine and will work on normal ports b

    Did you run some programs to optimize the sound, or is it the microfone himself that you can hear in the vid?

    • @GadgetryTech
      @GadgetryTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No changes to sound output on this video. For the majority of the video I'm using my Audio-Technica XLR shotgun mic, as I do with all reviews. The "mic test" portion of the video is the un-altered recording of the Torch, followed by unaltered recordings of some of the competitors. Hopefully that helps! Thanks.

    Thanks a lot for this review.
    I want to start streaming and recording pc games, and in my country thic mic costs even less then $100 USD right now, so it is still worth to buy for a beginning streamer?, or there is some mic in this cost that already better then the Torch?
    In similar price range in my local stores has mics like:
    Boya USB Type-C BY-PM500
    HyperX SoloCast USB Condenser Gaming
    Razer Seiren X Desktop Cardioid Condenser
    Saramonic SR-MV2000
    and the ROCCAT Torch
    And i don't know what to chose for me as a beginning streamer... Can you please help me with advise
    Thanks.

    Do these have built in pop-filters?

    • @GadgetryTech
      @GadgetryTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. It’s okay for the price and considering the proximity to the mic capsule itself

    • @forreal_miguel
      @forreal_miguel 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GadgetryTech would you recommend buying a pop filter? And thank you so much! Not to sure how the science part works. What's up with the proximity thing? Sorry for asking all this! Thank you for replying!

    • @GadgetryTech
      @GadgetryTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@forreal_miguel no problem. With this one I would just use what’s built in and make sure your mouth isn’t too close to the mic and you’re good!
