The Tomei Expreme Ti Catback is officially on the Subaru STI and it sounds INSANE! The rumble is out of this world and Tomei has proved yet again that it is a great looking exhaust as well as amazing sounding exhaust. We had a Tomei on the BRZ, GTR, 350Z and now it was finally time to put it on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI Hatchback! I just have an XForce catback. It's quiet, but loud when you want it to be. Also has a really exaggerated rumble, more than other brands.

The tomei gives the subaru rumble the most unique sound out of any catback. I had a nameless muffler delete single exit ony sti. It sounded great with my GS DP. When I added my 4-1 EL header, it got to be too much daily driving. I ended up putting a invidia q300. Nice mellow sound. But don't worry, i also have a GS uppipe with tial waste gate. So she screams still 🤣

they are reliable as long as you don’t modify them too much haha. Also dont beat on it too much and keep up with maintenance and you should he good! But honestly that goes for any car
I got a full P&L exhaust on my 08 sti, doesn't pop like the Tomei and has such a unique great sound compared to every other subaru on the road. No slip joints, all bolted flanges like it should be ( or v-band)
My buddy had a full Tomei exhaust setup on his 08 sti, just could get past all the annoying pops and bangs and insanely loud droning. But still looks nice and sounds good
Good review but the camera work gave me a headache. You need to transition smoothly. I could not watch the entire video. Too much jumping around.

you don’t necessarily need a tune for a carback but its definitely recommended you get one if you have an aftermarket down pipe
is the 2011+ bumper a direct fitment or do i need anything else? i have an 08.
you need the fog light covers, tow hook cover and grille. Other than that everything fit fine!

ah man, sorry about that it was easy though, there are 2 bolts, 1 at each part of the bumper at the top part of the wheelwell. After that just make sure you have the push in clips under the bumper and then once those are all out just pull on the bumper to release it from the bumper clips and it should come right off. Hope this helps!👍🏼

@@duran976 no you’re fine, a catback exhaust doesn’t really change anything either than the sound. When you change your downpipe is when you need to get a pro tune

OTS tunes are fine to run on the day-to-day as long as you’re using the products they were tuned with. Cobb tunes can only be run with Cobb parts

sounds great. personally would feel embarrassed to have it cause then i couldn’t be seen by my neighbours due to the sheer embarrassment. glad you like it enough to not feel embarrassed every time you cold start it tho haha
i joke about “annoying” my neighbors but in reality its only 2 neighbors haha, i try to be a good neighbor and put the silencer in for cold starts that are at night or early morning haha

I have a high flow cat and aftermarket headers with an aftermarket up pipe so my car is a little bit louder but honestly the Tomei itself is not and unbearably loud exhaust. it is very loud but I think it is still daily able
