- Tomei has just released their all new Dual Exit Exhaust for the Subaru BRZ / Toyota GR86 and it sounds INSANE! We installed the new exhaust onto my 2022 Subaru BRZ and not only does it sound amazing but it looks even better! Shoutout to Tomei for making an amazing product like they always do!

it sounds more like the older subarus. if you want that old subie rumble like this just install UEL headers. they went equal length headers back in 2017 which took that OG subie rumble away. UEL does take a peformance hit vs equal length headers which is why subaru went away from UEL.

i went through 4 different catbacks till i went with the “nuclear” option and got a tomei. Best exhaust ever. It loud af when you get on it, quiet when ur chillin, and drone on the highway is at a frequency that’s not overly boomy or bassy. no catback i’ve had has a bigger difference in volume between cruising and full send than the tomei. and the tone is perfect. not overly deep to where it’s annoying in car but not so raspy that i feel like a total ricer
I use this new Tomei Exhaust too and the rumble really pleasing combining with UEL headers.. not that loud on low rpm but when you give it a gas it just pleasing to hear.

I have R35 w/ Tomei titanium straight pipe exhaust system, and its loud AF. BUT!!!!... I find the sound of this GR86 to be badass AF!! Even when it just idling...daaaang Nice job, bro!

my current setup is Tomei UEL+ corsa full system exhaust, loud and no drone... yeah that looks amazing with those big pipes!!!!

Is it just the Tomei Dual Exhaust on there or is something else add as well. I have Kinetix HFC's on my 350z so how will it sound with those hfc's and the Tomei Exhaust?
Does Tomei do 1 like this for the 2012/2013 1st Gen BRZ? I can only find single tips, which I don't want. What is the dB's on these too with & without silencers? My country has a 95 dB limit for cars 🙃 are yiu also running UEL or EL headers?
