Thank you for your tips. The one about putting your phone into airplane mode on the ship is particularly important. We got caught out on another cruise and ended up with a rather eye watering bill.
Thank you for those kind words...we've just biarded Azura for a quick 7 days around the Canaries, so do look out for thise videos coming soon if you enjoyed the other P&O ones.
Hi Isabel. Thanks for your feedback. The meal cost us £24 each which was booked before we boarded. It was only offered on one evening so you need to be quick when booking opens. There is some footage of the meal in our part 3 video of this cruise. We also went in early May. Hope you have a fantastic time
The port maps with walking routes - were they provided by the cruise line or were they in port done by city folks? We will be in different cruise line when we go . Also can you share the independent tour you took and how you booked it- in advanced or in port? Thanks!
Hi Marcy, the maps are generally available at Port..more often then not at a Tourist Information office, so you certainly shouldnt have a problem. Re the trips I'm assuming you're referring to when we were in Olden where we went on the Lowen "Skylift" Cable Car and walked to the Glacier? If so then the Glacier was a P&O excusrison organised on ship but the Lowen "Skylift" was a ticket we purchased from "Olden Adventure" who are situated by the port. This also included the bus/coach to take you there which you get from outside where the ships are.leaving. If you havent already, check out the Olden video here> th-cam.com/video/REWGzJbp1Bo/w-d-xo.html and OLDEN ADVENTURES is the red roofed building where people are waving at the ship as we leave. (White building with Green Veranda and Brown Roof) We hope that helps :)

Hi Colin, we did a mixture of both tbh. Clearly though if you choose to go with anyone other than the cruiseline itself then you need to make sure you get back in time before ths ship leaves port. Almost all the ports will have tour operators at (or around) dockside.

Your welcome @mags, we hope you didnt get clobbered too hard on the bill...its certainly eay to do though..
Great tips. One thing I do regarding time is to wear an analog watch and set it to ship time.
Hi Rick, thanks for the kind words. Yep you cant beat an analogue watch to keep you in check when crossing time zones 🙂
All of your Norwegian Fjords videos have been very informative. Thank you very much for the time and effort.

Really interesting… what month did you cruise
Hi Michael, thanks for your kind words. We travelled in the first week of May.
Just wondering do you have link to waterproof bag covers that you used
Hi Michelle, sure...try this link www.amazon.co.uk/LAMA-Waterproof-Reflective-Rainproof-Anti-Theft/dp/B08MFHV15Y/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?crid=37FFA8AUOJKNX&keywords=rucksack+covers+waterproof&qid=1679411647&sprefix=rucksa%2Caps%2C96&sr=8-4-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1 😀
Brilliant thanks
Could of done with knowing what month your cruise was taking place. Otherwise very useful information!
Hi Berni, we went in early May, however the information is relevant no matter what time of year you happen to go for. Thanks for the kind words. 😃
Can u book most of the excursions at the ports instead of using p&o. Cos we've heard they are a lot cheaper?
Hi Colin, we did a mixture of both tbh. Clearly though if you choose to go with anyone other than the cruiseline itself then you need to make sure you get back in time before ths ship leaves port. Almost all the ports will have tour operators at (or around) dockside.
