      Whole set is to a click, you can see Jens tapping the mic in time with his in ears before the song starts. It’s really damn impressive, they put on such an amazing live show

    • @snail415
      @snail415 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tambian89 I never look down-upon any band that relies upon a click. Not that you do, but that it’s really a sacrifice on their part. They way they hear the performance compared to the audience must be torture after a while. Nonetheless, they’re legends for doing what’s necessary to be air-tight.

    • @tambian89
      @tambian89 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@snail415 I get you and same - I actually think it's more difficult playing to the click live, far moreso than in the studio where you can do multiple takes, even with the live sound engineers they probably have.

We were like 45 nerdy dudes. At some point the entire band left Mårten by himself and went for a piss, he was obviously uncomfortable being alone on stage and they knew it. Hilarious! They played a lot of stuff from None and Destroy, Erase, Improve. And they did requests! Was a good night.

    No count in or fuck all. Straight on without permission.

      Pretty sure the band is wearing in-ear monitors with a metronome counting in the song. Notice the singer tapping his mic a few beats before the rest of the band comes in.

    This band would be unbeatable and super badass more than they are if they only had a good singer front man or at least one you can understand a single word

      You can indeed hear more than one word from Jens, such as "BLEEEEDDD"
      Besides, his vocals are very distorted so it would make sense that not every word is heard
      Also, the lyrics of a song need not be clearly sung, I like to think of the vocalist like an instrument that adds to the song
