Many narcs have changed through, sincere, fervent, consistent, stubborn prayer!
The good thing is prayer changes the one praying. Prayer is never in vain if they don't change, at least you will get closer to God. But pray for them sincerely, not only for your life to be better, but for true repentance for the narcissist. Stay away and stay safe, but prayer is never in vain. NEVER! Keep praying!!!!

My narcissistic father says he prays for me at church... .of course he abused me, tried to rob me, destroyed the family on every level,........the perfect hiding place for them .

Their religious demon makes them act like that. But confronting them would make them wild.
When my Nex discarded me, I said I always prayed for you, I interceded on ur behalf more than you'll ever know. With a smug look,and a laugh he said, "I guess it didn't work" that's when I felt like he was mocking my relationship with God

I gave chances to my covert narc mom and self-righteous stepfather for 13 adult years. God removed me from them and put me in a new State with a wonderful sister in Christ roomie, am loves by her family and am supported by coworkers and believed by safe family. Sometimes you can spend years waiting but God has better plans for YOU!
Yes, to give people a chance is absolutely important. A real fair chance.
Then, yes after having done, fast, pray, again a chance and then consequences.
with prayer and very high boundaries i have learned to handle narcissists better. prayer naturally puts me in a "non-reactive" state as if my energies are depleted.
at which point the narcissist has to continually attack, and as I clear the energy on the other side, this causes the flying monkeys to wake up faster. and therefore to isolate the narcissist

I pray 2 hours every morning. I sing the song of freedom of the Jews in Egypt. and after the rosary. all my hate ends in prayer, and afterwards with the narcissist I am very very very calm (always with maximum boundaries eh).
I believe it does because there is power in prayer...Now, it depends on the severity of multiple demons and strongholds of the narcissistic person may have, where it will take time for the Porto be whole.

I am a man, whose religion is Hinduism. And five years ago, I was traumabonded by my narcissistic friend, whose religion is Islam. Only after did he discard me I realized that I had been traumabonded. After the discard, I went to a woman, who teaches people hymns and learnt a hymn, which is believed by some hindus to be a healing hymn. While learning it too, my wish was that he and I become friends once again and that he change, too. Then, a few days later, I went to temple, where, my prayer to God was the wish with which I was learning a holy hymn from her. And also, I thought that my chanting the hymn I learnt would break the traumabond, thereby not allowing me to go and see him ------ His aim is to make highly knowledgeable men, who become his friend, follow islam.

Then, having done this, then you watch what happens. But then you maje sure that there is no further hindernis then their own will. That is VERY biblical.
We go in the spiritial ave and prepare the room which is soooo important. After having done we keep on praying. Also we can cast out demons.
And this all is preparing a decision.
THEEEN the decision is clear in frint of their eyes and then the chance fir a change is so so so much bigger.
If they then show no change,never give up, but maybe shorten prayer a bit to protect yourself.
But never stay too realistic as we serve a Gid of miracles. Abd salvation cobcerning to the word is a gift from God.

I believe in justice, and when they have denied you your non myopic hit of stability with them, they only deserve happiness as long as God intervenes and takes hold of their demons and loose them into hell.
We need to keep affirming they can change yet in doing so never regret giving the soul of theirs food rather go into spiritual warfare prayer against their demons
Don't say NO Prayer CANT change them etc Bcuz God can do anything!! You may say no bcuz the narcissist won't admit faults etc... Right God is not a narcissist, bcuz narcissism is a demonic spirit... But God can and will make them see n realize that there is a issue in their life!! DINT EVER SAY GOD CANT/WON'T EVER N DEFINITELY DO NOT SAY PRAYER DOESN'T WORK.. Bcuz Bent Knees,Breaks Chains also What's from the heart, will reach the heart! No you can't save them... But God can work thru you to help n guide your steps to be able to reach them

What your pointing out here Ben applies to other religious people as well besides Christians.
And praying can be very confusing if nothing changes. It can make you lose trust in God. It happened to me.

I think praying is a way that is good in the sense that we by doing so do nit biw under their spirit.
So praying is a matter of faith.
And I tell you God honours faith as he recognizes that if we use prayer as only weapon that means faith. Mosr believery pray 1% and then act themselves with their solution.
Fasting and praying is indeed the christian solution as it is faith and our given vessel to ask God for.
Papa God loves the narcissistic just as much as he loves the abused and He is more willing and hungry to see a person manifestioning narcissism come into SOZO full freedom deliverance healed and set free.
It is only God's loving kindness that leads to repentance through his power.
When we pray God moves. His timing.
He also honors free will.

God is able to face a narc so that the heart can get open. So even so the free will the only outside helping thing that can change is prayer as we just bless the person and draw them closer to God..That is no magic but it might be the only way. If not us, WHO will pray for them. It is intercession and a ministry. So not praying means 100% nothing changes, prsying means all external doors are open to draw them to Jesus as Jesus said to pray, always.

There’s nothing God can’t do but you need to see the evidence of that in their thought processes & actions. Prayer can do anything but the person has to be willing.
God can soften or harden the heart of people for sure. He totally manipulated pharoh in hardening his heart..... He couldn't let the people go even when he wanted to at first.
I wouldn't say that God is a narcissist, but he can totally set you and others up for success or failure.... For his glory.

The god of the Old Testament seems to be narcissistic.....Yehwah. However, Jesus and the WISDOM of the HOLY SPIRIT came to heal and forgive. Jesus represented GOD the FATHER. and SOPHIA (WISDOM) the MOTHER. JESUS WAS CONCEIVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
