Changbin (the guy you went on about sing-rapping at the start with the squeaks) started as a vocalist and his vocal coach mentioned he should try rapping, as well…he’s now one of the best idol rappers by far AND has a beautiful singing voice. That’s the lovely thing about Stray Kids (and my ULT of ULTs group, SHINee), they can ALL do it ALL: sing, rap, dance, etc.

That's even what made them debut as 9 members, originally, because their vibe together is insane. It's the energy and how every single one of them is unique and completely non-interchangeable, and yet they all fit together in an interplay of harmony, picking up loose threads and weaving into each other, OR their voices and styles are being used as contrast against each other. 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin and HAN) produce most of their songs together (although the others are also getting into it more, especially Hyunjin), and I think they're very aware and fine-tuned to what each voice can do, and their creativity and well of ideas is bottomless istg
