Just wanted to say thank you very much. Several videos on this and moving the ac compressor and taking out the studs was much easier than removing the fan or draining some coolant out of the radiator hose. I used a 5.5mil on the compressor studs and it worked awesome. Thanks again.

Thanks for mention of a 5.5mm socket for removing the studs. I did not purchase the sockets to remove them, the 5.5mm socket worked.

@@justdoityourself I completed this task. The video was of utmost help. It probably took me 3 hours. 188.00 alternator from Rockauto, then 14.4 volts on the voltmeter when I started the engine.

@@davidrobinson4797 glad to hear! It was very good idea to check the voltage. I had one case were the new alternator had defective voltage regulator, so I was getting over 18 V.
