Was checking out a charity shop Yamaha Electro organ yesterday - the E notes didn’t work - Checked it out on line and found this model was the type used on Ghost Town - I thought from the fantastic rhythm box built in - perhaps this was the basis of the groove and then modified for the ska vibe - This uploaded demo - shows I was right - Of course genius songwriting!!
Everyone's calling someone a genius. Does it help that I've been calling Jerry one for decades? If he'd done nothing but In The Studio he'd be immortal.
100% agree. The acoustics and instrumentation from In The Studio really showcase Jerry's talents, it's an album which would sound great as an instrumental without any vocals.
