@@NitroCerber it's not about being smart or not. you can apply the same logic to fraud and say that fraud shouldn't punished, it's natural selection, etc. but the laws think otherwise. Raid and all similar things only exist because of the grey areas in laws that didn't catch up to the digital era progress

If the outer Hexa is made from ferrous metal, would it be possible to place the base on a magnet so the pieces would be more stable and hold together when you reassemble the puzzle?
I thought that you were supposed to put the hog back into it's casing EMPTY... and THEN slot the golden gizmo right the way through to the inner to complete the puzzle: it's entirely possible that there are multiple ways that the outer case can be constructed that do not allow this final step...
I got the Hexahog a few months ago and I found that you can use the hex profile from a piece of the cage as a a Go/No-Go gauge on the hog to find the exit correct hole to free the hog. My cage is a lot looser than all the ones I've seen in video reviews and is not possibe to assemble free hand. I have to build the base layer and secure with a band around it then add the top layer. A great quality puzzle and I'm looking forward to the next Rademic Hog release.

In English, the object inside is called a "polyhedron" which is basically a 3D polygon. In other words, a polyhedron is a 3D shape whose every edge is straight and whose every face is flat. So cubes, pyramids, hexagonal prisms etc are all polyhedrons. It's not a commonly used word though. Just now, I searched "what is a 3D polygon called?" because I had forgotten the word; so I'm not implying you should have known the word, I'm just sharing the info.
You need to think about how they assemble them in the factory before shipment. They are hardly going to mess about precariously balancing the pieces....

I like them all. But I finally found one I cant solve. And its lower level than all but one of my puzzles. I think they goofed up on the hardness of the puzzle. Haha. First one I have never solved yet. But I wont give up ever! I also use your spoilers, once I have beaten a puzzle on my own. To put puzzles freinds and family failed at. I agree the Hexa is a 2 for puzzlers, a 3 for general people. The HexaHog is barely a puzzle. It's 12 pieces that fit together in a geometric pattern. The challenge is not the puzzle but the physical act of assembly. So I'd rate the overall thing as a 3 out of 5.
Didn't you do another puzzle almost exactly like this in the last couple years? Remove a metal bit from a metal cage by finding the opening that's slightly larger than the other openings?
I'm making a mental note. Video with Raid ad has 3% more dislikes than previous one. Not saying that's the reason, just waiting to see if the trend continues.

You can do some research if you want, about how they are specifically designed for that and how predatory they are. Sure they'll exists regardless of one add by Mr. Puzzle, and sure some of the people prone to addiction will end up failing one way or another... but advertising them is being part of the problem and not the solution.

I'm a big fan of this channel but I'm not a fan of this puzzle: Not very innovative (just the classic hedgehog in a cage that we've already seen a billion times), falls apart without tape and rubber band, disassembly difficulty 1/5, assembly would also be a 1/5 if it wasn't so hard to hold it together, the small knobs don't fit very well, the two puzzles don't have anything to do with each other.... It's as if somebody googled "puzzle" and combined the first two search results that came up.

As I was reconstructing it, I think I would have used little bits of Blue tack or even Sellotape to just hold it together

I imagine they use some type of insert and fit the puzzle pieces around it. Once done they can take the insert out and put in the Hexa.

The rubber band is not a "nice" way to stabilize the outer cage - a "snap in" between inner and outer shells' end covers would be smart.
the puzzle should come DIS assembled with the "hog " OUT of the inner chamber and no pictures of what the final shape should be .

I think I've seen the smaller one before, but I watch 3 puzzle channels, and they do tend to have some overlap in the puzzles they feature.
