you do understand that, ppl are not here cause SETTINGS ARE TURNED OFF, they are here cause even if its ON, notification is NOT WORKING

Exact same issue I'm having, and Facebook support has no option to reach someone about your specific account if having issues. The video here is how to help iPhone users specifically if their settings are incorrectly set.
This video is not to “fix” ( click bait ) this videos is to only turn ON notifications, that’s it.
ALSO: check to make sure you dont have "DATA SAVER" turned on if your on andriod and check your Battery Saver setting for each app and make sure its turned off for ones you want notifications for. not sure if its the same for Iphone thoough
Useless explanation, everything is turned on as it shoud be and still no notifications on any of my comments on Facebook...at least he tried, but my problem is not resolved

It would be nice if you could address this same problem for those who use the desktop version of FB, and also for one's "business page", not personal page, for that is where I'm having this problem.
The setting is okay, but it's fault in the app. Facebook app has some problems. For example, I uploaded a picture to Facebook, I got 150 likes on the photo but there wasn't any notification related to the likes in the Facebook notifications tab. So I mean this isn't an issue in the phone settings but this is something in the application itself.

I tried everything on my ipad to get the red notifications! I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, no help. What can I do? I am missing out on things on pages I follow. PLEASE HELP!

Mine finally fixed. I did nothing to settings it just started to work one day
All push options on, but still 0 sounds or notification. Messenger app seems be working

1. click on your profile icon (upper right)
2. settings & privacy(on the right)
3. notifications (on the left under preferences)
4. what notifications you receive
(These are notifications for posts to your timeline,
Likes and other Reactions to your posts, and more.)
Whenever I post on Facebook I have a message saying posting even when I close out the app.

All my settings are set up as you said to, and I am getting notifications. The ones I'm not getting are when I turn on a post "Turn on notifications for this post", I never receive a notification. Any suggestions? Please, as this is so frustrating.

HOw can I permanently delete a notification once I read them? mine keep returning after I removed them...all the time, same ones over and over....arg. I use a desktop.

I do not see see Facebook at all under notifications. Facebook tells me they sent a notification to my phone and I have to approve it in order to log on. What’s the problem?

@@ultimateman262 I even uninstalled & re installed the app, apparently it's an Android thing, issues with receiving notifications & that is a bit odd

@@TrevorNace iPad. Just set it up last night. Only one contact not showing as of now which should be in my iCloud account. I re-entered them so now they are in there.

It was my post. At see click on any notifications that are friends. And they even say that I’m allowed
