That o/u is hilarious, because there is a well known radio station here called New Jersey 101.5
I just love yall talking about what a sick team this is and not having time to talk about Jesper Bratt. Just got to Prague and so hyped for this Friday!
I love how you guys never fail to get some info wrong about the Devils when you do these videos
They aren't Devils experts. What a shocker
every year lol. Even as they're glazing us.
Hearing words "Brodeur shuts the door." again for the preseason game was a Nostalgia kick to the max. its so crazy to see Martin's son playing for the same team he won cups with.
and then hearing him make a save on Sykora.
@@666kingdrummer yes! its was crazy to hear. I had to click off and click back on to make sure I wasnt watching a rerun of a old Devils game lol
NJ with even slightly better luck this year will be a problem, for everybody else.
I'm a Devils fan, and I'm taking the under and putting them in 3rd or 4th. They just get hurt too much. Two seasons ago was everything lining up perfectly. Last season was everything going wrong. Realistically, they'll wind up in the middle.
Simon Nemec played 60 games for the Devils last year - rather more than a handful. They'd have PREFERRED he just play a handful or so, same as Luke Hughes, but given the injuries, etc
The 112 point is season is the clear outlier, but people seem to consider that the standard. I wish they're as good as people seem to think, as they're my team in the east, but I'm not as confident. My hope is playoffs, and I'd be thrilled if it isn't as a wild card team.
You guys forgot Brett Pesce on the back end!
Oh come on Steve you know we are all hanging out for the leafs one just do it already!!
They're going by division in (roughly) reverse alphabetical order. So tomorrow will be Jackets and Canes, and the day after should be Leafs and Lightning.
sheldon keefe had zach hyman, in the playoffs, the way you describe timo meier wrecking shop cuz thats what keefe likes, i dont know if his words translate to the playstyle he makes em play
Adam for god sake get some halls
First :D ayo the unlisted content goes hard
The team was decimated with injuries and didn’t have a single competent goalie, but it was actually all Lindy’s fault somehow. Never mind that all of their possession numbers got drastically worse as soon as Travis Green took over. Lindy is an excellent coach and they had horrible injury luck. I don’t get why you have to take shots at him.
Adam drink some tea omg
Markstrom is not the saviour. Since he arrived in the NHL he’s alternated between great years where he is Vezina caliber and crap seasons where he lets in 1 or 2 soft goals a game and leaks like a screen door being used as a raft.
Last year was a good year for him. This year he will cost them a playoff spot.
i think Jake Allen is getting overrated here lol
I don't think the Devils are president's trophy this year, they're 3rd in the Metro. They've gotten to where they're better than the Islanders and just a little bit worse than the Hurricanes or Rangers.
Bruv you really need to hop off the canes wagon they arent good and they arent better than the devils LOL.
please stop saying nice things about my team im scared
Speaking as a Devils fan: that under on season points is literally free money. Bet the house on it
Somebody knows Markstroms great year/crap year history ;)
Idk, I feel like the hype for this team is a little too high. Lots of ifs and buts.
Lindy was never the problem. They couldn't get a save, how does that make Lindy a bad coach for them? When they got ANY goaltending he led them to 110 point season
112*
hot take: '22-'23 was the anomaly and they're going to miss the playoffs again.
skipping this because i cant bear to hear adam talk like this
