Thanks. The truck isn't really all that fast but it moves out OK for a 5.3 and the supercharger makes a nice whine.

My motorcycle make this slow motion,, however, I never pass two vehicles when there is a driveway, street, or road on the left side of the highway. Had the second car turned into the driveway, without signaling, you be eating the hood of your wanna be a truck.

Bully for your motorcycle! I'll bet it can run circles around my wannabe truck. I'm sure you always know what intersections and driveways are ahead at all times.
I'm sure you just know it all, I can tell.
But there is one thing you didn't know: that exact scenario you described has already happened to me a number of times, where I'm in the act of passing something that decides to turn left. Sorry to disappoint you but no collision resulted. They reason why is they can't just turn left 90 degrees without first braking.
Freeze the video at 0:21. The intersection on the left is less than 100 feet ahead and the van is doing between 45-50mph. If the van was thinking of turning left it would have to brake hard here, which would cause it to drop back behind me almost instantly and I'd be ahead of it before reaching the intersection. Like I said, I have experienced this before. If the van was intending to turn left at the driveway that I'm even with here then it would have braked way earlier and it would still not have been in front of me at the this moment. BTW the van knew it was getting passed because there were 4 other cars that just passed it before I did. The van was not surprised to see me go by in the passing lane.
Here something I will admit: If I analyze this like a Monday morning quarterback, there are a number of other potential things that could have gone wrong that could have resulted in a collision. I'm not going to write them all up here but I have given them some thought, and it will influence my decisions going forward.
That stretch of 2-lane highway is ~ 25 miles with side roads and driveways scattered all thru it and it is impossible to know exactly where each one is. The best you can do is watch the no passing zones and watch the oncoming traffic.
As for that van, it was leading its own little parade for about 10 miles, and there were 4 other cars in between the van and the Jeep. The other 4 cars all passed the van one at a time, and the Jeep decided to hang back, probably because it was planning to turn off ahead.
Are the 4 other cars that passed the van all reckless villains in your mind too? What about drivers like that van, who get on a busy 2-lane highway in perfect road conditions to deliberately do 5 or 10 under the limit and build a stack of frustrated traffic behind them, are they righteous saints in your mind?
I'm not the fastest driver out there. The cops will give 10 over so I cruise at 5 to 8 over in good conditions. I get passed all the time by others. I don't take offense or wish them harm for that. Other drivers do take very bitter offense, and they are the kind to take joy in others getting a ticket or suffering harm. Even when they don't say it explicitly I can see it in the tone of their snide comments and low grade insults. Personally I think that's kinda sad.
You take care on that motorcycle, and rest assured I have given matters some thought after reviewing my dashcam videos.

    Had to?

Point taken. But unless I was willing to putz along at 5 or 10 under the limit in perfectly fine road conditions for no apparent reason at all, then yes I had to.
That van was leading its own little parade from 8-10 miles back, vacillating between 45 -50, with several other cars stacked up behind it. The other cars all passed it one at a time. It was the Jeep's turn to pass, and the Jeep wasn't gonna go, so then it was my turn. I also considered there was enough space between the Jeep and the van to give me an out if something came up while passing. I appreciated that if the Jeep didn't want to pass, at least it wasn't going to tailgate and try to block others from passing. You'd be surprised how many drivers out there take offense to being passed. I've had other drivers in the same position as that Jeep who would speed up to close the gap as soon as they saw me going for it. In everybody else's mind I'm a villain for passing and they feel self righteously justified in trying to stop me.
