It really depends what you’re targeting and where you’re throwing it. It’s an absolutely massive body of water too, so it’s more about location than bait I think.

The reel is from the Pro Max spinning combo, but the rod is actually from an Ulgy Stick Elite Spinning Ladies Combo. I broke my rod from the Pro Max in this vid > th-cam.com/video/uZAv4CLHO0M/w-d-xo.html and swapped out the reel on the Ugly Stick.
Yeah possibly. I like to use flouro leader lines, because usually, most of the water I fish is is clear water with medium to heavy fishing pressure. I'll be picking up some heavier flouro though hahaha.

Its a shame videos like this giving away key identifying markers are what people use and before we know it the place is overfished. This place here was a great spot for many years, a shame to see it overfished and getting uneeded attention.
Just started fishing again since I was 14 and it was clear water i could see this big (big to my ass lmao) pike coming up on my lure and don’t know if I struck early or it slipped out but damn that motherfucker has me losing sleep lmao I’ll wake up in the middle of the god damn night and just think about that asshole who got away. Got me telling myself “it’s okay you’ll get another chance”😂
