Its not well understood that if the DPF is damaged or removed, that the vehicle will often go into limp mode! The DPF MUST be deleted in the ECU as well as physically removed..........messing around with drills is pointless.
It's the pressure increase from blocked dpf. Did you try and force regenerate driving for thirty mins close to the high rev red line in low gears on a highway
Well actually, not. Under normal driving there's no smoke. I only saw some after I nailed it up a Dune but that is understandable due to excess fuel. And the engine is tuned so, even more chuffed that there's no smoke
Thats why you take it off instead of leaving holes in the bottom. Its impossible for them to tell if its been tampered with as long as the box is still there
This has got to be - the WORST modification video I've ever seen!! You really should have planed this a lot better! Now your driving around venting particulate matter into the environment, and it's in your eyes and lungs- I feel sorry for your kids!
I see how this isn't the best way of doing things I normally remove the dpf to get the stuff out easier and use a respirator Done right is a very cheap increase in power and better for the engine hope he got rid of the egr aswell As for bringing his children in to it is a nasty thing a real jobs worth would say

Works for me
Been a month
I have a bmw modern engine I have deleted DPF now I destroy audi s3 easily with dpf off no limp
it depends on the size of the hole.
How are the regens now? Any difference? Thanks for the video (:

and just to add. i didnt need a dpf delete. no mil light came on. my car wouldnt regen anyway due to faulty glow plugs
O'rileys autos on here is an amazing resource for Dpf issues
works a treat
Yep.. I sleep better at night knowing my turbo is cooler 🙌🙂
Well done 💯
oh good vedo ps from lahore
i agree with dpf diet. but car will now smoke alot. and you should have done it well away from the house and kids. heard its nasty stuff inside dpf

Any signs of tampering with the DPF canister would automatically fail the UK MOT test. The price of a remap is also not cheap here.😡
How does this affect the mot surely they can see dpf has been drilled out

I hope your eyes are ok and a warning to protect your eyes everyone don't chance it without proper eye protection even a shield
Noted.. I usually us it but lacked discipline this time 😊
You don't want ceramic in your eyes or lungs as well as all the byproducts of diesel combustion. Look after your health
Noted. I didn't know that it's nasty stuff.. Hope I'll be OK 😢
No not that easy
I've seen some dumb stuff, but this bloke 🤦

@@clutchdroptv4345 There is no good way, of removing a DPF. There's a reason why it's there. Don't buy a car with a DPF, if you don't want it.
