- I have FINALLY repacked my long overdue exhaust! This was a project I was not expecting to take as long as it did. If you get one of these exhaust, make sure to repack it every 15-20 hours or you’ll end up going through the trouble I went through. As it may seem I was not happy repacking this exhaust. This was solely my fault not Big Gun’s because this exhaust wasn’t designed to go through mud and water. Overall, this exhaust is quality in my opinion. I’ve put this thing to the test and it is holding up fine! Also, I give an update on the 420 and some other random stuff! Repacking my big gun evo u was the BIGGEST PAIN. Like yours, the packing just didn’t fit so I ended up wrapping it in masking tape super tight until it fit. It’s been 2 years since that and my Honda rancher basically sounds straight piped, which isn’t great. I guess I’ll have repack it again 😭

I took my packing out today after like 9 years of it being on my 2012 raptor 700r and it came out in one piece and it was burnt on one end but looked decent only 600 miles of use. I did not repack it and it sounds way different and is more powerful, 3rd gear would chug a bit at low rpm but now it accelerates more freely and feels better

Are you running a gear reduction to turn those 29.5" sassys? Do you think the Rubicon 520 can spin those without a gear reduction?
I don't think it'll like them in the thick stuff
My buddy has a 520 with 32 sassys and turns them no problem even in mud

it's a sticker, I blew most of it off with a pressure washer lol
No i mean that actual pipe, i read on the paper that it peels off from the heat because there is no cotton
Will 29.5 outlaw ogs fit on a stock 2021 rancher no lift i dont want them to rub i know the lift brings the tires closer to the inside
they will rub a little
@@ftmikeyt inch tires rub on mine if I’m going fast or using the brakes or something heavy on the rear rack
Do you have problems with yours moving alot? Mine wont stay tight and the header keeps coming loose making a bad exhaust leak sound
I did once i started going in deep water but I put loctite on it and never had the issue again
How could i make around a 20% gear reduction for my 2001 honda rancher 350 or where could i buy one for cheap
I recommend reduction boss for any gear reduction

If you would have removed the front band near the springs the outside tube would slide off and make that hob so much easier. Just a suggestion

Don’t use packing, it won’t last. Go to Walmart and get steel whool. It won’t rot

It sure is, I have no complaints with it. I mainly use it as a leverage point when working through nasty holes! It has never came lose and still works great!
