You could remove the drum and add seats as you mentioned and take it to the MORR Off-road Tow Truck games to use as a spectator shuttle. That seems like the one trouble item of getting people around.
that's a lot of weight up top with the concrete still inside, I think you should use it as a movable counterweight when you have a deadweight load, could be interesting....
Dave knows exactly what he is doing, he probably got it dirt cheap, seeing how it has a full barrel for ballast. It's one hell of a job to jackhammer to clear out the concrete and horribly noisy, you need really good noise canceling headphones. Modify the barrel with steel liners inside to turn it into a mobile ball mill for gold recovery. The rest of the truck is a monster truck capable of many uses, would not be surprised if it has low mile/hours.
You could use a "40 hog hopper" truck in Canada. To cook up their massive "super hogs", 600 lb feral hogs. To cook and dispose of lots of problematic feral hogs, and then donate the meat to the homeless in California etc. Mad genius. Youze guys are awesome!!
They switched to a front discharge option many years ago for 'safety' so the driver could see clearly. Also depending on the weight restrictions some states have multiple axles
Most of ours don't look like that. That there is a front discharge, which are way more popular on the East Coast. Out in Cali, we use rear discharge. Those front discharge are nice because you can drive right up to the forms, no backing up. And the operator can stay in the cab.
It's crazy how capable they are yet none of the cement companies are willing to take them anywhere that has even the slightest bit of a wet spot, I build houses for people off grid and it's always a nightmare trying to get cement on site it has to be a perfect day out.
Mostly because if they do get stuck its alot to pull them out and customers always say it ok and they dont mind the property damage then after they get shocked and angry with how big the ruts are.
I like the ultimate recovery vehicle suggestion. Making it into an RV just might piss off some staffers in the long run. BUT you can make it into the ultimate recovery asset. Turn that mixer generator into a winch pull system. Have storage and additional assets all in one. I also thought you bought a sandcrawler since you kept saying government and big and the thumbnail sure looks like it. Options: offer to buy the remaining 4 or 5 mixer trucks at 80% value (if 4, offer 33k etc) and make a few different things out of each one. A (Not-a-star-wars-sandcrawler) could easily sell for 50k, perhaps offer a few different types, as an off-road RV. Plus you can repurpose some metal from the mixer bowl. If Elon can market not-a-flame-thrower, aside from disney copyrights, you could sell these. I'd suggest you make your rock climber fun toy, use it, enjoy it, then later sell it. Make a recovery asset that's everything you wished you had. Not an engineer, but you guys may be able to do that ultimate winch system. Weld a tunnel over the winch or turn the generator around so that the winch is in the back. And those RV sandcrawlers you could make and sell.
Did you know you have 2 TikTok accounts and you are giving a truck away every month but I don’t understand why you have to pay 285.00$ up front for delivery
That’s a scam my guy, foreigners will create accounts under “celebrities” names. They then use said accounts to make opportunities like a free truck seem realistic. If someone’s asking for money, & your willing to pay. Try asking for a facetime on social media to provide realism to the situation. Scammers are normal nowadays

We converted a front discharge into a grain hauler for our farm. We took all the axles off since grain is so light. Its awesome when unloading.
You always do a great job when left Alone. Looks like a great item to go crazy with. Can't wait to see what it gets turned into. Thanks for sharing this video. Looking forward to the next video.
Dave you are funny guy. Thanks for knowing how to still have fun even when you have loads of $$$$
Love it that you met this legend Alan and he became your buddy
Matts off road Adventure…..✌️😎👍
THIS! Epic content with editing that was on point! Just the right amount of funny clips without being annoyingly repetitive and I had a huge grin on my face the whole episode seeing how much fun you guys had! 😁
I'd love to see this turned into a 20 seater rock crawler just so I can get a seat in its debut! 😂 👍
Back in the 70's, there was a show about a junkyard owner who bought a cement truck. He used the tank as a space ship to go to the moon!! Good Luck! :)
@HeavyDSparks12 You're video reminded me of Salvage One, an Andy Griffith show about a junkyard owner.
I appreciate what what you're doing with rescue operations. I am retired but worked as an Aerospace engineer. It's neat seeing you being able to repurpose diverse equipment (concrete truck and Blackhawk) for rescue operations. Keep up the good work!
I love it when Alen said he uses ride to wash his hair and everything else and hans look was wild like wtf heck I use Gain
That bottle motor is going to make one hell of a recovery winch
What’s the starting torque on the motor 🤯
@@wintersun398 I think those bottles hold about 60,000 pounds and to mix the baffles have to be able to lift half that, so it’s got to be able to shift 30,000 pounds from cold
@@eveningecho5334 hmm so if they hitched a chain off the spindle it could deadpull more than 14 metric Tonnes?
@@wintersun398 sounds about right, but probably more given the size of the machine that HeavyD bought lol
Make it a Mud Buggy recovering, announcement stage platform. This would make it super easy for off Road events and would sale. 2nd option, off road RV home would sale great in tough areas like Alaska.
Really interested in the 40 hog hopper but seriously what’s going through Dave sparks mind right now… we’ll just have to wait and see.
Hey that's where Cleeter went after leaving Matt's offroad recovery! Looking forward to seeing more of him.
No he went to work for hunter .
@@nottoday7495 wait which one is hunter
@@tjm8994able Hunter , the red headed kid with the beard, he looks like Rudy, Matts son from MORR. Hunter quit Dave and started doing more on his own channel. Skeeter quit or was let go from Matts off road and went to work with Hunter for a short while. Now he seems to be working here with Dave. This is becoming the man version of "The days of our Lives" LOL
@@warrenmichael918 bahahha! Thanks for the info.
Need to make a rotating cage with seats at the back. Rotating the people while rock climbing 😂😂
I was wondering why I hadn't seen skeeter on matts channel in a while.
He has been on Hunters channel working, where he was working after leaving or being fired from Matts.
Yeah, this man should NEVER be left alone at an auction.
You should take the truck up to Allen’s compound. And help him pour the concrete for his fortress
Dude if heavy really wants something he’ll get it. Hella good person. Makes me happy he got something fun.
You MUST turn it into an off road wrecker, and call it the "Worlds Largest Off road Wrecker", just to one up Matt (sorry Matt).
If this is a result of unsupervised Dave then I definitely need to see more unsupervised Dave 🍻
Agreed
Hope to see you at Matt's off-road wrecker games with that hog.
You know this great content
Dave is the only person locally that could recover Matt’s wrecker if need be 🤷🏻♂️😂
That would make a hell of an off road rollback. Might make up for having to push the firetruck around all the time.
There's an engine in the way.
One small problem
Hans cracks me up the burnout 😂 had me cackling
Always good when Dave is left to his own machinations
😂 just waitin for Hans to vapor lock one on one of these videos💯
Or blow a rod out the side of the block and then have to explain why.
Your cement mixers are super wacky looking compared to ours in the UK! Love it ❤
They switched to a front discharge option many years ago for 'safety' so the driver could see clearly.
Most the concrete trucks I've seen here are not this style. Supposedly these are better though, they sure are goofy 🤪.
@@Roger_Rabbit_Adventures thanks Roger, that makes sense now 👍🏼
@@gregwaters7830 interesting, thanks Greg 👍🏼
Skeeter just causally looking like he got back from filming a Yellowstone Episode.
I said that too. I said look at Skeet Skeet trying to look like RIP!!!! haha
I drove a mixer for 10 years. They are a beast!! I always thought it would be the coolest off road camper.. you can take these things anywhere
They don't want them to get stuck or break. You only see these types of concrete trucks in areas that have hills and snow
Mixers and soft ground don't mix.
Sounds like a scam to me.
Yeah that’s a bit weird
Scam is that 100%
Unsupervised is the only supervision you need.
Replace that mixer-thing for a drum, would make a giant winch 🙂
Why is skeeter there? We’ve missed him on Matt’s off-road recovery.
I was wondering the same thing. Didn’t know he worked for Dave now.
He left matt to work for hunter, and then Dave hired him from out under Hunter. Been some drama between them
