That was amazing cinematography. Obviously the dad fulfilled a lifelong dream there to be in an action movie. Plus, he must either be loaded or just have a ton of good friends to help him make this- a couple cops, a pilot, a cameraman, a film editor, and two friends willing to be filmed getting beat up in a bar bathroom. And what a car, this was a whole package.
One word: Money :D

He was showing how much effort he put to raised his daughter & how much he loves her. He willing to do anyhing for her.

@nancy macnack you are right. Positivity is the way to go. At the same time, in general, I’m trying to not be potentially naive. To be clear, I’m not saying being positive is being naive, far from it. I’m just not easily convinced. Which in this case, and many other cases, could be considered a loss for me. Missing out on the joy.

This is definitely a first time seeing something like that done for a wedding. Congratulations to the Bride and Groom, and kudos to the father of the bride for thinking outside the box for a toast.

I wished I had such an amazing awesome papa or a father-in-law. This was absolutely brilliant to watch how much effort was put in to create such a masterpiece video on his daughters wedding reception. Truly remarkable to have the privilege to watch the nonstop James Bond inspired action packed scenes.

i stumbled upon this randomly, and this is one of the coolest things ive seen!
That was amazing! Yes, he starred in his own movie, but it was also a testament to his love for his daughter, and the lengths he would go to try and create something unique and ohmygod memorable for her. Watching her, I kept getting the feeling that she was more negative about it than impressed or touched, unfortunately. Perhaps it's my age or own fatherhood experiences, but it really did seem to me that he was doing it for her, to try and give her something that utilized all he had to offer.

Funny how 8 months can change a perspective. I went back and watched it again. The one thing that struck me this time was that he made a movie ALL ABOUT HIM. Yes, his James Bond fantasy, but all it ultimately did was show off how he had a ton of money and connections as he played out his fantasy. It was the young couple's day, NOT his. Yes, it was entertaining and certainly showcased his richness, but it also completely overshadowed the two people about whom the day was supposed to be about. As the groom said afterwards, how could he possibly compete with that. In short, his presentation stole focus, glorified himself, and had little to nothing to do with his daughter's "big day". He insured that the attendees would remember him, not them.
i too was wondering that after the father went through all that ordeal, that everybody didn't stand up and applaud him or the daughter didn't jump up and hug him with tears in her eyes, or why the son in law didn't ask to join him on his other adventure if he has another daughter or son. i think that probably he is accustomed doing this with his family and the only ones who would be amazed is us watching this video and his in-laws
I thought the same..the daughter was not so lucky with what her Dad done for her. It was a bit sad to look at the less reaction from her and the Groom

That was amazing, I was hoping for the ending to have a few cops coming in to arrest him as he leaps out the window into the sports car and escaping....but still, this was 100% what a fun dad

To me it boils down to the father (in law) being ready to do all in his multiple powers to support his daughter and the husband. Sure it shows more than the groom feels he could do at this moment, but between the lines also shows how much devotion and energy the dad expects the groom to dedicate to his beloved daughter. That's a strong statement, but I believe the dad is sure the son in law will one day fit into these big boots. So yeah, what an action.

After watching all the rujbish you put on TH-cam someone goes and put something so heartwarming its about time people put more of this type of stuff on this is so heartwarming its truly beautiful. How you view it is as personal as the event itself. Yes, it's the bride and groom's big day, and yes, the father got to play James Bond, but it took a lot of planning, effort and help to produce what is effectively a farewell speech for his daughter. It might not have worked without the humour added by collecting and delivering the doll, but I think it did work. The groom doesn't have to be seen to feel overshadowed ... he's leaving with the man's daughter and has a lifetime to impress her.:)

If you is interested in ready-made wedding speeches the greatest success that I have had was by using the Talking Template Bundle (i found it on google) without a doubt the best info that I've tried.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to learn about father bride speech ideas try Secret Speech Blueprint (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my m8 got cool success with it.

Found this by chance… God, that's absolute professional work! You should merchandise it :-) Can't tell, as a cineastic who does editing as a hobby, how enthusiastic I am about that. Camera angle, timing, cuts, slow motion sequences and music - couldn't have done this better. Father and his team must have spent incredible amounts of time and editing to make the whole thing perfect. And yes, it is! Want to have your team at my wedding. Great respect to all of you!
