Mikayla's dad ("Nate-daddy") wanted me to post this epic video of their wedding reception daddy daughter dance. To all you dads out there, he says, "NEVER PASS UP A CHANCE TO DANCE WITH YOUR DAUGHTER!" He also said that this dance was his chance to treat his daughter how she should be treated (as a princess). Sooo tender.
The dance started out so sweet and traditional and caught everyone by surprise. Haha! I loved filming Mikayla and her dad's epic and awesome choreographed daddy daughter wedding dance.

I first saw this video 2 YEARS AGO! I have watched it a zillion times, and still love it so much. I never get tired of seeing how much fun dad and daughter have with each other. I have seen other good wedding videos, BUT this is the all time best ever! I hope their lives are long and happy. GOOD JOB!
I did the same dance, I was inspired by this video, maybe it didn't turn out the same, but that my daughter and I enjoyed doing together and that it will remain in everyone's memory since nobody expected it is priceless.

I was not allowed to have contact with my daughter as she grew up, cuz I was a bad person. She was raised by adoptive parents. But then I found God, and He changed me, and when my daughter became an adult I got in contact with her, and we began a relationship. She actually ended up moving in with me, 1200 miles from where she grew up. When she got married, the adoptive father danced with her, but halfway through the dance, he stepped aside and motioned me to come up and finish the dance with my daughter. It was a special moment. Now we all get along great.......the adoptive parents, my daughter and myself. God changes people and He heals relationships.

Due to the fact that you're 68 and that you spoke of your amazing father in past tense it says that dad's watching over you now. I'm 44 and just lost my right arm, my rock of Gibraltar, my best friend and Dad rolled up into one. When is this pain supposed to become bearable or at least subside so as to enable me to go on with him watching over me.

My dad taught me how to dance. Every party mom & dad had there was always a dance contest and dad & I always won. Mom & Dad were great jitter bug dancers. They were in the RCAF during WWII and dance contests were held at the bases and mom & dad always won them. Guess it's in the genes. I miss dancing with my daddy.

I know you must be an awesome father from what I've read. The reason I am saying this is because my son is turning 21 this month and sometimes I think, what I wouldn't give to have him that little again. I sure miss them times. Thank God he turned out to be a fine young man.
