Mega thanks! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 About the cockpit: this will be a great fit for a high end ship. I usually use Tayo Cockpit since it has the extra space to fit in extra stuff behind seatings but it is starting to get really, really cramped back there. Vanilla build cockpit choices: * Fighter ships I usually used that heli looking cockpit, that one used on the "Junker Watchdog" ship. Had best view out, imo, among the smaller ones. * Freighter I went for the 2-level one without ladders, maybe it's from Stroud Eklund but not sure. * Transporter I used the one with a ladder up to it, from Hope Tech. * Frontier I let be and just made it sleeker with Helicopter looking landing gear, those with a front/middle/rear section available and halfcircled H3 fuel tanks + fastest engines x3 (180 speed). I'd been hoping for and then very happy with your massive new 2 floor bridge, then you go and improve it. I'm 45 and you have me gushing over your work like a teenager, I promise I'm not trying to kiss your aft facing landing bay. Lol.
This is an amazing bridge! If you want a suggestion, i would add some red lights above the crew stations where you said you might add a light. Red light is often used in ships and aircraft as it does not affect your night vision like white or cooler temp white light does. In fact, i would love a bridge with a switch to have the whole thing lit red for battle (or whenever i wanted) and then back to brighter white for normal use.
Love your new cockpit/bridge, I love the large, clean, open look. I built 2 fish tanks on the upper deck of mine just because I could. Keep up the great work. I always look forward to your releases.

Loving the new parts so much, the field of view is amazing and I’ve spent so much time now just flying and getting up from the pilot seat and just watching out the windows. Can’t wait to see what you do next and I’m really hoping you do more direct fire weapons or direct fire versions of the ones you have in game at the moment as some of the turret one would be awesome for us to control.
Beautiful bridge and also customizable, so you can create a party bridge if you wanted. Just didn't catch how it looks from outside. Would have been grate to start the video from the external view. Thanks for the hard work!
I'd love to see this new pilots chair in your reclaimed Starborn cockpit. I use that cockpit on my two favorite ships and ended up adding screens to the canopy. Awesome work!
Your stuff is hands down my favorite. I've been using it since mods for Starfield first came to Xbox. If you ask me what I'd like to put on my Matilijia wish list (which I know you're not), I'd like to have two things. The first would be a grav drive or shield (anything really) that, at least from the outside, looked like your walk-in reactor.. You know? For symmetry's sake.. The second would be a flip or variation to your nose cannon, as I'm still having trouble getting it attached. The flip/variations (for my needs) doesn't even have to do anything other than give me the ability to attach it. You originally advised me to use one of TN's mods to make it easier and it did for a while, but since they changed that mod to an AIO, that no longer seems to be the case.. Sometimes, if the other assembly allows it, I can drop glitch it into place, but that's not always the case.... Anyways, I love your stuff and can't overstate how much I appreciate your efforts.
@@johnmarks9287it is though. If you're on xbox and not seeing updates, delete the mod or entire mod list and re-download it. I recommend saving your load order as you can delete all creations/mods from the reserved space file on your xbox and go re-download them rather easily. It'll also re-download them in the order of your load order. I do biggest to smallest and that seems to usually do the trick and has the fewest crashes. Bethesda had this issue with fallout and skyrim as well where the creations didn't always show their update
@@johnmarks9287 They have been released. I’ve built 2 ships so far using the different variants he’s built. It’s an amazing bridge, double decker. Try deleting the mod and reloading. Sometimes updates are weird like that.
I love the cockpit. I used it for my Shadow Ray B2 ship. I had it on for a few days but then had to replace it back to Nova Galactic cobalt cockpit. Main reason why is because it was taking to much interior space in my ship 😂. To a point where I could not add any more habs. And I didn’t want to make the ship any wider or longer. Because then it would lose that profile. But I got other building ideas for the cockpit. 😊
Looks really good. You've done an awesome job. I don't know if it would make it too dark in game, but I've always thought the cockpits would be better with red lighting, it just seems to me that in the dark of space, you'd want night-sight friendly illumination. (or maybe that's just me, lol).
I mostly agree, that's why I put red lighting in the hallways behind the cockpit, but didn't want the lighting to distract during gameplay like when flying in first person, and I found in the CK that using red lighting really causes some very distracting reflections off the glass windscreen.
Been using your products on my builds my next one will have one of the four bridges you just added..I wanted to request two items if feasible; can you make the 2/3/4 way stairs accessible on all sides top and bottom, that would take designing ships to a whole new level..and also have you thought of placing turrets inside some habs like the vanilla ships and maybe the bridge I think that would be sick! Keep it bringing brother we're here for it🫡

I might consider making one with say 2 or 3 subhabs so that multiple attachments could be added, but I think all of them would be a bit much in the name of having some semblance of balance.😆

It's designed to fit inbetween other structural/hab pieces. Basically if you have a 3x3 section on your ship, and the center 1x1 of that section is empty, you can fill it with the SCH300. th-cam.com/video/zprAYtonIBg/w-d-xo.html

@@hoppyjr86 No, you aren't stupid, it could be an xbox problem, what I would try, is flip to the bottom facing one, and then slide it roughly where you want it and flip it again, sometimes the flip glitch method works when just trying to snap it directly doesn't.
These look really cool! Do you have any plans to make a slightly smaller version? A lot of my ship builds suit a size similar to the Derratech cockpits, but I reeeaaallllyy like what you’re doing with the field of view and pilot seat control panels. I think my ultimate goal is to find a Star Trek sized bridge where it’s mostly all on one level, but with multiple seats/control panels around the captain’s station. Some of the vanilla cockpits come close, but they’re never quite right!
Sidenote: literally the next video I watched after this was the one where you mentioned about reasonable and unreasonable requests! I hope my comment didn’t come across as a request- i was more just intrigued to know what you might be planning in the future! Have you considered or are you interested in creating and pinning a comment for bugs and issues? I don't know how much of a nuisance that would be but it'd give us an easy way of helping locate any issues. Personally, my issues are most likely both related to PDY and the PDY Matilija patch. Some Pass Throughs prefer to be Doors and the Hole prefers to be a window in the top or bottom of your 1x1. My biggest problem is getting my monstrosity to fit rationally on the landing pad, lol.
How about doing a [salvaged tech version] and have it only work on ng+ then it fits the lore to have starborn seats... I agree the starborn cockpit would be much better

I'm noticing that the copilot seats are floating a bit behind the platforms in the second floor? it happens in all three models (2 and 3 entrances). Am I missing something? I installed version 3.011. I didn't notice it before though I cannot be sure about that.
Whenever I put decorations in your habs, they disappear. Another one of my viewers having the same issue. Didnt seem to get fixed from the last update. Is this on your radar?

What is the most recent uploaded/cleared by Bethesda/updatable version number of this new bridge? I do not see it as a level 85 (eng. lvl 4) player on my pc game. I have latest as 3.01
The current released version requires level 95, this video is just showcasing some updates I'm making to it that will be in my next update, which is probably still a couple weeks out as I have a lot more I'm aiming to have done for it.
I built a ship using 90% of Matilija parts. The ship looks great except one part... The cockpit. When will the bridge become available at level 50? I just turned level 50 and I'm dying to add it to my ship.
Requires level 95 and starship design 4. It's already in the xbox version, probably just haven't reach a level where it's available yet, or don't have the starship design skill ranked up. That said, here in just about ~8 or 9 days I should have my next update ready and when it goes live, the requirements are going to be reduced to level 50, but still starship design 4.
This update isn't released, the current release is my first release of my bridge, this is just a look at changes that will be made when I next update. I have a lot of other things I'm working on for my next update as well though, so it's probably still a couple weeks away from being ready.
I like building new ships, but the core game has gone stale for me. I’ve completed the game three times, and I just went through unity for the second time for the first time. I’m so bored with Starbugs. Wish there was more to do. I’m not optimistic about Shattered Space Bugs.
I only play with the ship and ship building. I quit playing the rest of the game shortly after starting to play it and focused on the ship for 90% of my playtime over the first month it was out. Never finished the game, never entered the unity, and didn't play again until mods. Matilija is the main reason I play at all. Game is about 5/10, ship building started at 8/10 and mods made it 10/10.
@@ShaggyShagz13 Agreed. You aren’t missing out much by not completing the story and going through unity. Most have complained the story makes no sense. The story is short. You get a lackluster Starborn suit and the guardian ship, which is weak. You can to go through unity multiple times to reach the maxed, beefed up Guardian ships. Not worth it to me. Currently, I’m using Steve’s prebuilt 100% accurate exterior Star Wars ships. My millennium falcon is super fast and the weapons are OP. Except for the essential invisible habs, I replaced all vanilla habs with matilija’s habs. It’s nice inside and out.
With combat, economy, and other gameplay mods...I definitely disagree. But people said that about Fallout and Skyrim so ..you know it's adorable how you guys think this is something unique. Also the nicknames...like Bugrim...Falloff...Bugout...man things do repeat. It's all adorable...a new generation feeling so hip.
I see a number of comments on a number of your videos and post on nezus about you not answering or replying to their post or replying to what they feel is a timely manner. But videos like this and the live stream support just goes to show how much of the comments and posts you're actually reading 🫡. Thanks. And curently making my second ship using the new bridges👍🏾. I know its a lot of work and i know this is a hobby of yours and you have a real life outside making mods, so we appreciate that you're doing this for us to enjoy along with yourself 🎉

Lol, I downloaded the fishtank mod to do the same thing. This is the best bridge in the game.

Love the new massive bridge! You should add a variant without any rear walkways too (kind of like the supersized cousin of the Cabot bridge).

Impressed and pleased you didn't use the Starborn cockpit . It fit's far better the way you decided to do it, in my opinion.

Not a fan of the Starborn ship/cockpit at all so i'm on board with staying away from that. Excited to try this on Xbox

Iam trying to use the SCH300 stealth compartment hatch but I can find a way to attach it anywhere can someone help me please thank you

When making ship hab INT do you need to nav mesh the floors?
I like your cockpits, but I cannot find a decoration tab in order to decorate. Am I missing something?
Is there a specific cockpit you are having that problem with? You should be able to open your scanner and switch to build mode in them.

Do you have a "troubleshoot" thread? I'm having trouble getting more than one entrance into the bridge to spawn doors
On my nexus mod page there is a comment thread, but out of curiosity, which bridge and which door location isn't spawning a door?

This update isn't released, the current release is my first release of my bridge, this is just a look at changes that will be made when I next update. I have a lot of other things I'm working on for my next update as well though, so it's probably still a couple weeks away from being ready.
I like building new ships, but the core game has gone stale for me. I’ve completed the game three times, and I just went through unity for the second time for the first time. I’m so bored with Starbugs. Wish there was more to do. I’m not optimistic about Shattered Space Bugs.
I only play with the ship and ship building. I quit playing the rest of the game shortly after starting to play it and focused on the ship for 90% of my playtime over the first month it was out. Never finished the game, never entered the unity, and didn't play again until mods. Matilija is the main reason I play at all. Game is about 5/10, ship building started at 8/10 and mods made it 10/10.
@@ShaggyShagz13 Agreed. You aren’t missing out much by not completing the story and going through unity. Most have complained the story makes no sense. The story is short. You get a lackluster Starborn suit and the guardian ship, which is weak. You can to go through unity multiple times to reach the maxed, beefed up Guardian ships. Not worth it to me.
Currently, I’m using Steve’s prebuilt 100% accurate exterior Star Wars ships. My millennium falcon is super fast and the weapons are OP. Except for the essential invisible habs, I replaced all vanilla habs with matilija’s habs. It’s nice inside and out.
With combat, economy, and other gameplay mods...I definitely disagree. But people said that about Fallout and Skyrim so ..you know it's adorable how you guys think this is something unique. Also the nicknames...like Bugrim...Falloff...Bugout...man things do repeat. It's all adorable...a new generation feeling so hip.
