- Adding 3 and 4 floor elevators, new no logo version of my glass crosshab, fixed the missing signs in the outpost builder menu, did some work on the collision on my structural scaffolding to hopefully improve snapping behavior on xbox, CHANGED CARGO HOLDS, this part is very important, if you have any of the equipment cargo seals or lifts attached to my cargo holds on your ship, remove them before updating as those equipment pieces are going away in 4.01, see why in this video.

Can we get a cargo bay lift but with nothing on it, so I can park my rev 8 on it and pretend it "lifts " my rev 8 onto the ship?...that would be so dope!
Already in there.
He already has an empty lift and unless he makes a hab holding the vehicle, there is a mod already holding the buggy that can be used to compliment it.

When you released 4.0, I was sad I couldn’t use a 3x4 elevator for one of my most beloved ship builds that uses your parts and Derretech’s - so much so I built another ship that was taller to use the 5x4 elevator 😂 Great work. Huge fan
I'm just happy I was able to build a new ship with all the new parts that I needed I might not have been able to salvage my old one but I still made a really nice dreadnought I even painted it like the M9 Tempest from Mass Effect Andromeda. I've been putting off the daunting task of decorating it though...

Thanks for the work you put in to create this excellent mod - by far the coolest options for ship building. I am new and have only created two builds so far; thanks in advance for fixing the Xbox snap issues. It would be nice to have a full slate of HAB options (some you have): 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 2x1, 2x2, 2x3, 3x3. With those, have options for no windows, port side window, starboard side window, and dual window. The window you added are fantastic btw. Glad to see the cargo bay change - that will make those usable on Xbox. Keep up the great work…many thanks!

@@matilija in the end, hopefully your skills continue to grow to the extent you’re on a major dev team payroll. Your habs and parts are better than what the entire team of Bethedsta put out. Derretech is also a great ship mod maker.

A small or any size brigg be great esp if it would get a patch to work with usefull Briggs. I just love the versatility your mods add to builds.
As always, thank you for the work you do. Can you look into doing a 3x3x2 bay/cargo hold. That you can inter your ship through. Park the rav8 in and shows all the stuff your cargo hold shows.

I can confirm that the robot guys missing clothing is just on your end.
I haven't used them as they're still a bit buggy, but the characters themselves show up as they're supposed to clothing wise.
Also, the decorations showed right up.

Thanks for the 3 n 4 floor elevator. I used the 5 floor evelator so far, and it works nicely. With new 3 n 4 i can have one elevator for the entry area to the ship and another further to the back to the command deck, bridge, and engineering 🎉

I rarely stick to my breaks, but I will definitely be taking one when SS releases so I can experience as much of it as possible.

I love your mod! Thank you SO MUCH for the time you've put into it. One thing that I would find helpful is a how-to video on how to snap the weapons, etc, into the retractable bays.

All we need a some kind of conpanion assignment mod ala fallout 4.
Be able to assign ship crew to a certain hab, asaign them a bed and maybe even assign them a specific seat inside the hab. That would change the immersion for me 100x
It sucks having a huge cockpit and theres never anyone in there. Also people uaing my captains quarter to hang out in. Mostly id like for having security in my brig thats actually standing guard haha

I have a pretty cool idea what project you should work next, you should work on M class ships with working Habs and stuff, I build crazy stuff with M class ships with TN's mod and your mod to make incredible battleships
Fantastic job! Was wondering if you could make: same 3*1, 1*3, 1*2, 2*1 Habs but without windows, same with corridor habs, and also do corners like in Alien Nostromo spaceship...

I have a lot of cowling and structural pieces that can make things look less blocky.

I couldn't find the update on xbox. I am excited and was building a ship and delayed it until you release it.
It's definitely there, it should be in the free mod section if you search for immersion and ships you should be able to find it.
Dude can we get a glass ramp thatd be dope af ik ur busy making stuff and doing requests but it'd be cool
crazy question, would it be possible or worth doing, to add doors to the cargo bays modules? they could have a duel purpose, cargo and companion way. I just thought it'd be cool to see them while you're in the ship running around.
The robots are fully clothed when i use them . But some of them u cant get rid of. Those are the ones that dont talk
Yeah, they are buggy, I'm still trying to figure out how to make them more consistently work as intended.
Just a thought, but i remeber you saying you wanted more asymmetric and unqiue designs for your habs (i could easily be going mad as well).
So what about an L-shaped hab, but vertical. A 2x1 or 3x1 with a staircase on one end/in the middle. If its at all possible, but if elevators are i think anything is tbh.
I'm curious, anyone made fast travel shortcuts on the star map UI before to cut down on toggling the zoom?
For instance a map fast travel favorite system, where on the UI you can have 5 icons to stick fast travel to.
Or at least favoriting 5 star systems so you can jump to em without scrolling.
Might be possible for a quick fast travel menu using a item bound to a hotkey but meh, it might be cheaty since it uses console commands that way.
Also the mission list lets you pull up to fast travel pretty quickly but only if the destination is properly set... So a Pseudo fast travel using a quick menu that is in the mission list might work.
I love all of your ship parts. Have you ever thought of putting windows on your ramps?
More ramps will be coming in the future with windows, but they are probably a couple or few updates away.

The snap is only a issue now on Xbox bcus the flip glitch was removed in the last Bethesda update
Yeah, but no one should really need to use a glitch to make it work anyway, it's on me to fix the issues with them, and that's ok, I understand where BGS is coming from, the glitches had the potential of more issues than positives, and for them, preventing unintentional crashes or save corruption is more important than the minor flexibility it allowed modders to take in their model development.
New lit up signs would be amazing, is there a way to make lights have different colors such as interior lights to create a different ambiance...Build a garden area with a soft blue glow, or those who want to create a game room environment with different colors as a theme?

On the nexus page of my mod which is linked to in my profile here on YT there is a "posts tab" where most of the communication for the mod occurs. There's also a bug report section ect.

Yo so for the crew try spawning them at outposts if you can. Idk if it's your mod or another mod that is giving me those same people. But on xbox I can get them to spawn best there
Likely has to do with the way the hired randoms work in base game. If you hire them, they're temporarily yours, not permanently, unless you assign them someplace. Once unassigned, they default back to their original location and you have to pay them again, at least from my experience. They don't work like the Named NPCs you can hire.
been having an issue with the Class C FC16 Direct Fire Flak Cannon's not attaching to snap points. The FC16A can but not the FC16.
I'll take a look at it when I get a chance, my next update is focusing on weapons, adding new energy and particle manual fires, some re-balancing across the board and so on. So I'll be trying to make sure they all snap correctly before I update.

I’m having an issue with the corner decks not connecting to anything that’s not a 1x1 hab, even if it’s just that and the hab it’s being attached to, it’s just glowing red with every variant
You say they will connect to a 1x1? I would try this, connect them to a 1x1 off to the side of your main build, and then double click or if you are on xbox, use the LB button and highlight just the 1x1 and the deck and then move them as a group over to where you want to connect them to your ship, and see if it will allow you to connect it. Weird though, I'll see if I can reproduce on my end and figure out what's causing it.

Weirdly enough it would attach correctly when I used TN’s class m ship building mod before switching to ship building tweaks. Maybe there’s compatibility issues with it?
@matalija Should I remove the stealth weapon and compartment hatches? Will the weapon holds and stealth compartment hatches be affected in the same way as the cargo bays?
No, unfortunately due to how weapons work, I can't really make them the same way I do my cargo holds.
I'm not sure it's your mod that is the problem as I have this very problem placing tech's/robot's and other things in/around my outpost.
Love ur mod I am having a issue with the aerospace fc22 cockpit. I will get a fault saying the docker module needs to be on the outside edge of ur ship no matter the location. I replace the cockpit and the issue is gone.
I know of the issue, and am working on a resolution for it.
You should make your own shipyard thats sells your parts exclusively
I will eventually, but that will take some real time, but my parts will still remain available anywhere parts are sold, I don't want people to have to travel just to get one part they need....well maybe with a couple of exceptions, I might make a couple of weapons only available direct from the manufacturer, but none of those currently available.

When I get done making all of the various sizes and shapes of habs that I intend to make, then and only then will I start focusing on making decorated versions.
I can't find the huge bridge. Is there a specific location I need to go to for it?
No, but it does require level 50 in version 4.0-4.01 and level 95 in versions 3.0-3.11, so which version do you have installed currently?
@@matilija i finally figured out what was wrong. I had to delete and redownload the mod from creations for it to show up.

why make a 1-6 story stair hab? you cant go above the docker or go below the bay or you get ⚠ ⚠
There's plenty of mods out there that allow for larger ships, and I like large ships.

Some of the doors wont open or im on the wrong side of door. Some habs dont even have doors. Is there something i need to do besides the mod that u can put the doors where u want. I tried that and its super hard to do because that mod makes u do all the doors and windows. The glass thing with the globe like thing on top that for sure the door wont open. I feel like i do need to tell u that your mods are the best. Im at work thinking about ship building with your mods all day. Lol. Ive been looking on all these videos and comments to see if anyone else brought up the issue but it seems thats not the case
The cross passages and elevators don't have doors unless they are connected directly to a bay, and only on that connection will a door show up, the stairs only spawn doors if they are connected to a cockpit or bay, with the same rules, which habs are you talking about? The Battlestations there are 3 types, the stbd version only has doors on it's port side, the port version only on it's stbd side, and the aft version only has doors on it's fore side. The engineering bay has a single door on each side in the center. But there are exceptions, if you use a cross passage to connect between the habs, it will remove the doors and just leave open doorways, that's a vanilla logic with cross passages and working as intended.
Oh yeah, the ramps too work like crosspassages.

I’m facing a problem with your mod. I get why the modules disappear from my ships. But after putting the modules back in after the update. I still get an error. Docker not connected and landing bay not connected to cockpit. So I deleted the cockpit and still no positive change. Would I had to replace all your modules in 3.0 before I jump in 4.0? Because if that’s the case I need to know. Please. 🙏
I do recommend loading from a save without my modules attached to your ship updating from 3.0 to 4.0 because the mod master type changed between them, also, you want to make sure you don't have any patches that were made for 3.011 or earlier installed until they are updated to work with my latest version.
@@matilijayeah I was afraid of that. It also includes the PYD mod? Got it. The hardest part is I got to delete all modules. Including the structure parts?
most likely the issue is the PDY mod, I would try disabling it and see if the issues persist before trying to go through the trouble of deleting parts to have to re-add later.

@@matilijayeah after checking on it. It wasn’t the PYD patch mod. It was me not properly align the Habs for the landing bay and docker to find the cockpit 😂. Oh well . At least it’s working 😊. Thank you

Did you click update, or did you delete and redownload? The update button on creations is broken, you need to delete and re-download the mod to get the full update.

Yes, delete and re-install the mod, the update button on creations doesn't work properly, the only proper way to update is to delete the mod and re-install it.

Matilija has ramps, stairs, and elevators so you never need a ladder again.
