  • Next update is probably about 2 weeks out, so probably sometime between September 1st and 8th, will update more with a more firm date as I get closer to ready for it.

    My wishlist for even ship builds. A 2 wide landing bay and 2 wide cockpits and 2 wide, 2 down cockpits.
    It would make even ship builds more aesthetically pleasing. Eg building off the 2x2 habs

    You’ve been doing such a great job. And when you do an update our game doesn’t break, that’s a huge plus. Thanks for thinking of and accommodating the Xbox players too. Awesome work!! I love your parts.

    Phenomenal! I noticed today that the M class Cargo bays have a door/ramp but there’s no animation to them they just stay open during space travel or planet side. Your weapon bays already show a proven concept idk why the devs overlooked it but maybe you could come up with your own

      If I had to guess is that they are probably going to be part of their expansion, and more work is going to be done on them, though I could be wrong.

      @@MTF-EPSILON-11-5-NULL Mod devs aren't BGS employees, we don't know anything any sooner than you do when it comes to updates, but the fact that the M-class and Station stuff is available in the CK ship builder tells me that they fully intend to flesh out the M-class stuff at some point.

    Not sure if you will read this but something I think the mod is lacking is a larger engine size. Currently the engines are quite small compared to the modules you've been pumping out.
    I do understand it wouldn't happen for a while, even after Shattered space and that it's your mod over anything else. You have the best ship parts mod on console right now and I'd love to see it expand into something massive.

    Sweet. I'd love for a top flip for the ramp support.
    Is there any chance the energy weapins could be an actual green beam? Like the Borg or something similar. And if that is possible or reasonable, a turret version to match. They could be a singular weapon that does heavy damage like the nose cannon. I recently built a ship using it and loved it. Currently building a ship using the battle stations to house laser and missiles. With the new bridge

    @Matilija love your work, I have a suggestion for something Id like to see. Is there any way we could get your cargo holds with windows in them similar to your battle stations? The reason I ask is because i like to attach them to a cargo hall with shutter doors using PDY. That way it looks like you use your ramps to raise cargo up into the cargo hall. I think it would be really cool if opened the shutter doors and could see the cargo ramps raised while in flight or see down to the ground when landed. I've spoken to a few people on Wize Old Wizards discord and they concur that this would be pretty awesome. If it would be too difficult then it's all good. The other thing was potentially a landing bay that works in a similar fashion so it could be mounted two units above the ground leaving more ship ground clearance. I suspect that one would be more difficult, if not impossible but I said id ask anyway. Thanks.

    As one that uses a lot of ramp supports, the only thing missing is a snap on the sides of the ramp supports. I'm using ramps more and more as superstructures elements as well as interior access. At issie is mostly where it is used as exterior elements. If I wish to add superstructure items down the length of the ramp, I can't. I'm forced to use derretech slopes which neither match in texture nor in size. His slopes are full width where yours match the ramp.

    Could you do a weapons showcase video. Would love to see the capabilities of your numerous weapons systems before buying them.
    Plus would be a good way to see how the fire rates on them are.

    Love this mood, started using some of the parts in my shop builds. Was wondering when all ship parts in your mood will be available on xbox?

      Already are, except for the new stuff I showcase in my videos which I normally showcase stuff that is coming in the next update. After I'm done with this next update I'll do a video showcasing everything in the mod.

    What do you think is the possibility of looking at doing like a garage bay for the REV-8. Not sure the difficulty level in making a mod like this happen. Something like a 2x2x2 with a large opening door that can be used in place of a regular bay, would set as the spawn point for the buggy and have a console to enter the editor for the buggy.

    Nearly every ship (every ship) build uses this mod. I will not play without it.

    My main irritation is that all your habs are noisy when inside. You perpetually hear wind blowing. I enter a vanilla hab and there’s no more noise. Lastly, it would be nice to have the long habs to have variants without windows. I like these habs because they’re barren inside, but often the windows are blocked by structural components needed for my builds.

      It's the exact opposite for me. I like that about the habs since I like spending time on rainy planets

    Matilija hey man is it possible to get a 2x1 wide Hab wit 2 doors on one side and one door on the other just like your v habs I have a ship that I’m trying to build that requires a 2 to 1 downsizing and I’m trying to hide the v Hab in the body work but it’s not working.thanks man keep up the awesome work

      I have put pre-builts on hiatus until after Shattered Space comes out, with the trouble I've had with the CK ship builder, I don't want to risk the expansion simply breaking them right away again forcing a fix, so I'm just holding off until the expansion.

    So i have the mod on xbox and i can see some of the Cockpits/Bridges, the only cockpit there is the SMA370-WL one
    Please help

      They have level requirements, the bridges require level 95 starship design 4, the SB cockpit requires level 30 Starship design 2 or 3, can't remember. ect.

    Hey bud, loving the mod so far. I noticed that i cant connect a A Hab to a vanilla cockpit. I was trying to tie a DS40.1 Ares bridge to a A-Hab to your 2x2 captains quarters. Don’t know how much work that would be for you, but thought i should mention it. Thanks

      Yeah, it's a collision issue that exists in both the A habs and the M habs in the current release, it will be fixed when I release my next update, about half way through checking all of my meshes, all of the habs I technically have fixed already, but still working on weapons and structural pieces.

    I love your mods for starfield but I can't find the largest cockpit you created in the mod. I'm wondering if there are any other mods that is causing the cockpit to be found when I'm building my ships. Please help.

    One question, My A-Class engines or the plating they connect to wont snap. Is there a special way to do it, or do you think it is a MOD conflict?

      They should easily snap to the side of any snap point on the same side, if they aren't snapping, you can try the flip glitch method, just flip to the other side engines and move to near where you want them and then flip back and see if they snap in green.

      ​@@matilijaunfortunately that's been patched out with the latest update. You now need to add ship building tweaks mod on console or change the ini. File on PC.

      @matilija I can't get some of the structural pieces to connect together. Like since the patch has came there are numerous collision issues. Can't even put the cargo lifts in the cargo Habs. Any suggestions? I'm on series x.

    How do you unlock the cannons and weapons? They don’t show up for me. I play on Xbox btw.

      combination of levels and starship design, the weapons range from as low as level 5 all the way to level 100, and rank1 to rank 4 starship design. If you want the exact list, check my mod page on Nexusmods and look at the second pinned comment in the comment section, it has a list of all of the weapons and the level required to for them to show up.

      Need more info, do you mean none of the parts are in the ship builder menu? Or some of the parts? What level are you, did you download it for the first time, or did you update using the update button?

      yes, lvl 95 starship design 4. When I next update the requirement is going to be lowered to lvl 50, but for now it's lvl 95.

    @matilija there's major a lag on pc abd xbox series consoles with your battle stations hovering over it and all is there a fix coming for that at all?

      Work is being done on improving performance, but I wouldn't call it a fix, it's not technically broken, so much as the engine doesn't handle overlapping collision meshes very well, especially not complex ones. But I am working on trying to improve their models to lessen the performance impact. They already are significantly better than when I first released them, but it's an ongoing project.

      @@HighMarshallHelbrecht I know it lags, it lags on PC too, even with a fairly high end one.I've been working on the models consistently trying to improve them, and for every update I improve them a bit more, and it gets a little better. Eventually, hopefully, I'll have them working without any issues.

      @@HighMarshallHelbrecht Oh no, I didn't take it that way, I just want you to know, I'm aware of their performance issues, also the A-Habs and M-Habs aren't perfect either, I still have some work to do on all of them. They are getting better with every update though.

    Hey brother... I was w9mdering if you could do a request... can you make another module like the weapons bay (one with the drop down) and make it so we can put the buggy in and out? I'm trying to do it myself but y9ur mods are kinda c9mplex to work with and I keep fucking it up... for now I have it so it spawns in the ship and out the ship but I wanna be able to drive on the platform and have it raise into the ship in its own hab not one just added to an existing hab like I did... its silly we couldn't see our vehicles in the ship...

      As cool as that would be, I don't think it's possible to do without an engine script extender like SFSE, there are no placement markers used for the Rev-8 so we can't make it spawn anywhere specific, it looks like they made it part of the game .exe rather than part of the in game files, so we can't change how it spawns without editing that .exe or injecting a script extender into the .exe.
