Three years after this was posted, Seba Jun/Nujabes would die in a car accident. It wouldn't be for another several years before I even discovered his music and, in 2020 during probably one of the most exhausting years of my generation, his music is a small comfort between the insanity beyond my doors. Although his music doesn't necessarily stay at the top of my playlist, I will just randomly stumble across his music again and it'll be like rediscovering his work all over again. It just doesn't seem to age or get boring, listening to it. His music is more than just sound waves hitting my ear drums - They're a mindset adjusting my soul.
