Aruarian Dance actually samples parts of 'the lamp is low', which ITSELF samples parts of 'pavane pour une infante defunte'. I knew about Aruarian Dance before and when I first listened to pavane pour une infante defunte, I thought it was a just a coincidence that some parts sounded similar. Then later I found the part that connected it all together which was the lamp is low.
Man... I haven't listened to this album for 12 years now. I was going out with my first girlfriend at the time, and had just discovered samurai Champloo at the start of our relationship, late spring/early summer. We were both anime fans. I was serving in a military base close to our home town, so every weekend pass I got, I'd go and see her. Her father was one of the coolest people I knew at the time, and in many ways the father I never had. I couldn't listen to this album anymore after she dumped me. She suggested I quit my service, since the middle east was a hot zone at the time. So I did, started job training in gastronomy. Aimed to become a restaurant manager or possibly opening my own place. But shortly after that, she left. It hurt so bad, listening to this, I couldn't forget her. Now I listen to this again, the algorithm just randomly suggesting it, and I remember all that, but I'm waiting with my wife for results of a pregnancy test. The space between 2 worlds... That's certainly how I feel right about now. Even without Samurai Champloo attached to it, this music is just so beautifully composed, it makes it timeless, and it fits me in any time of my life it seems. I wonder if it'll be so perfectly calming and relaxing once I actually have children.

This soundtrack is so well composed that it brings you peace through nostalgia but also gives you optimism for greater days ahead.
just finished watching this masterpiece of an anime and it took my breath away with the visuals and soundtrack, I already listened to Nujabes so I was so happy to find out he produced this soundtrack RIP but the other artists also made this so unique and every song in the whole show was a bop. The soundtrack was almost the highlight of a show where everything is amazing ugh so happy to find this show and soundtrack 10/10 goddamn I wish it was on spotify
I've been playing this video all year on my phone, but just started playing it rn on the PC and read the description. kinda feel like a fool for not reading it sooner. Thank You!!!!!!
You know, I put this on to study since it's been a while since I've listened to this soundtrack. I remembered most of these pieces and they're obviously gorgeous, but I somehow forgot just how awesome Shiki No Uta was. Thank you for posting this entire album
Aahh! Nostalgia! This gotta be one of the best anime soundtracks ever! ❤️
this album will be the first one I will listen to when I go to Japan ♥ magnificent! rip Nujabes-san
This whole album is a masterpiece. I always have to keep checking every once in a while to make sure this video is still here, so thank you.
The whole soundtrack is now in Spotify, finally.
Missing you, Nujabes. You should still be here making great music, man.
Nujabes is a part of me and a part of my life. I'm glad that I knew about his music.
Rest in Peace, Legend.
I remember 2008 this album was 24/7 on repeat in my Jiu Jitsu gym, those lo-fi hip hop beats was just perfect to roll
He literally was the japanese J Dilla. Both have the same birth date.
Holy shit, now that's a god damn fun fact

I love Aruarian Dance by Nujabes!! It soothes your soul. This is a great album. Thank you for posting it again.
Thanks! It was always annoying I could never find a video in the past that contained all the songs from this anime. Just old crusty videos that had a single song, haha.
Great music to draw fighting choreography to.
I've tried my regular playlist but you can't draw fighting scenes to regular music.
You're the real MVP brutha!
Very specific. Not drawing, drawing fighting choreography

I've never finished this show. Watched it as a kid but it wasn't until when I went to college that I connected with the show. I'm rewatching it again in hope that I finish it before graduation day. A conclusion to an era.
Did you finish it?

Some days, some nights
Some live, some die
In the name of the samurai
Some fight, some bleed
Sun up to sundown
The sons of a battlecry
Everytime I listen to Mystline, I sense a feeling of melancholy that I only get with this song.
holy hell this is available in this country again!? awesome! I can't count how many times I've listened to the fantastic samurai Champloo soundtrack! departure being my favorite! No way back is still a favorite of mine and is just filled with emotion and a badass vibe! thanks for uploading!
one of the dopest anime series i've seen. I gotta say when it comes to samurai champloo, they give off a different vibe with their music soundtrack that has its own groove and style. I enjoy hearing all the hiphop references in this show. classic.
Thank you for putting this under entertainment so we can have it in a separate window you absolute God king
Nujabes was such a genius... R. I. P.
Man..this album is a masterpiece
This whole album is legendary, still jamming to it
Absolutely aggravating that this isn’t on Spotify. I’ve probably listened to this album a hundred times no joke. It doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Also RIP Nujabes.
u a legend for that google drive download... throwing that on my Spotify downloads
The entire ost needs a Spotify release
Thank you for uploading this!
You are a hero for uploading these man, had been years since I last saw them widely available online
you can feel the soul in these beats.
I always come back to youtube to find Nujabes' collection of music. It is just so beautiful and really transports me to a different place
One of the best anime till now and even more good with this addictive songs/beats
it's made almost 20 years ago, and the album still sounds awesome. Samurai Champloo was still lying in my best list, thanks for the upload
Man, I have not watch Samurai Champloo before, but the OST is absolutely immaculate in every way. Starting to final track, just Great especially “Song of Seasons”.
Same, it makes me want to watch samurai champloo. I watched the first episode and I thought it was amazing but I never got to finishing it lol
@@LeroyRay0 Man I’ve seen it twice now and it’s my favorite anime. Imo it’s a Must watch!
@@wonderwatchesYt I should definitely check it out. Been a while since I became a weeb 😂.
Still rockin here since 2004 ! For ever Nujabes! Peace !
16:41 1st Samurai brings back memories. One of the dopest tracks in the entire show.
It has a Ratchet and Clank vibe to it
Truly an incredible series and soundtrack that has stayed with me all these years.
