I used to be a terrible artist... I couldn't draw to save my life. However, on my journey to teach myself i would visualize my art before sleeping and during my dreams when i realized that i was in a dreaming state.. I would exit whatever dream i had and sketch what i wanted to see and i would literally get better when in an awoken state. So now i can draw anything with crazy details. It works... And this comes from a qualified accountant by profession. Now I've moved onto digital art and design. So ligit i use lucid dreaming alot and it reallllly helps.
@@Gaurav.P0 by nature im a very spiritual and intuitive person. Dreams and dreamy states always used to fascinated me. There was a time when i would activately write down my dreams, re-enter and finish dreams. But it all started when i fell off a building in my dream and i hit the ground and continued my dream. From them i knew something had changed. After doing this I would just do things in my dreams after realizing that i was in a dream. So it came to me. Never knew what it was really.
@@richardtjipepe Wow 😍 great 👍... So, i think you found your passion through lucid dreams as a digital art. Does , lucid dreams helped you in living through your day to day life ?
@@Gaurav.P0 i mean at work and during my studies. Sometimes i lucid dream to absord information faster for my masters. For my day to day I use it to manipulate some habits to be more success driven and let go of those habits that dont amount to me becoming anything
Listening to you, I’m realizing I’ve had this gift my entire life, but I thought everyone did. I’ve often used it to come up with marketing ideas and to practice new skills. The dreams also help me work though challenges that I haven’t quite recognized as problems in my waking life. I want to do the full quest to learn what else I can do with lucid dreams. So exciting 😍
Same! I never New I was a lucid. dreamer. Sometimes I can be awake and be dragged into a lucid dream and the next minute I’m in deep sleep but dreaming! I’ve faced most of my fears in my dreams and sometimes the dreams repeat themselves till I find a solution or rather conquer that fear. Yesterday I explored a relationship I was in that ended without communication and I was able to explore what the last conversation(if it happened) btwn me and the other person would have been like and this made me have the closure I needed.
Rutuja shinde I realized that I often Lucid Dream. I’m reading a book in a dream and I’m able to read every single word clearly but as soon as I wake up I forget what I read and I can’t check if what I read really exists in the physical world!
How cool is Charlie Morley! He literally glows when he speaks about lucid dreaming. He really is a good speaker and he knows what he's talking about. I enjoyed watching this interview very much. Thank you.
Yep. Think of it as a horse that you have to tame then learn to ride/work with. It takes effort, trust and calm reassurance. If you battle it, you will get thrown.
Allowing the subconscious mind freedom to program you even when you have the power to manipulate the programming is a waste. It’s like being the director of a film and allowing the actors to go off script. You are the director when you lucid dream. You call the shots. You don’t have to sit through something dreadful when it can be eradicated just by command.
I started watching this yesterday and got so excited. I have had lucid dreams in the past and at one point tried to train myself. But I had idea of the potential. I decided I would be lucid last night and I was!!!!! I started to wake up because of the noise in my environment but I was able to hold on to the dream even through waking and it resumed! When a negative allergy presented itself, I embraced it and it turned in a very intriguing direction
I have always had very vivid dreams and often I’m aware in the dream that I am dreaming and I can exit the dream..... maybe go to the loo.... and re-enter the dream. Or if I’m not enjoying it, I can think ‘let’s get out of here!’ and exit. Often I can begin another dream that’s more pleasureable. I never knew it was Lucid Dreaming but now I know the possibilities, it’s absolutely fascinating! As a teenager I had a lot of flying dreams but when my sister and next door neighbours joined me, flying up and down the road above the lamp posts, we read about Astral Projection and realised that’s what we were doing. Thank you so much for this Charlie! You have such a wealth of knowledge and your enthusiasm is infectious! 😃
Charlie is an amazing Teacher I have 2 of his courses they are amazing just finishing off His intro to Lucid dreaming then going to start on Shadow integration. Wishing powerful Lucid dreams you all.
I didn’t know this was lucid dreaming. When I was about 4 years old, I had a recurring dream that I’m at my kindergarten and some of the teachers were mean to me because I was a rambunctious child, then one night as I was dreaming the same dream, I looked at one of my teachers and said out loud that “I am dreaming this” and woke up never to have that dream again
Lucid dream where I learned to let go. Quit trying to rescue people. Was dreaming of being caught in a rapid flow of a great river. People were crying out, struggling, holding on. Resisting the flow. I was holding on to some drifting wood and going with the flow. I learned that too many times when I've tried to help others I've gotten hurt. This dream woke me up and stop rescuing. Those that struggle will not let go of ego.
Charlie is a great speaker, he is convincing, authentic, caring. Thank you for this. Love to try it out. Had 2 lucid dreams in my life and always woke up when realizing that I was dreaming. It would be great to have them regularly. All the best Charlie, keep up the enthusiasm.
So cool! Thank you Charlie for sharing! And thank you Mindvalley! I had a recurring dream as a child, funny enough it had a lot of spiders in it.... I would wake up scared of course, and I remember one time I ran to my mom and told i about it, and she suggested that I imagine in my dream that my cat Tuffy comes to help ‘save’ me from the spiders.... this was the beginning of my lucid dreaming.... I do not always remember my dreams, but I always remember my lucid dreams. And without even knowing it was possible, I have used lucid dreaming to help another through a difficult time, to help ease their way. Thank you again for sharing! I will consciously practice more now! 🙏💖💖
Many years ago, I am 71 now. I had a nightmare I did not resolve. I was on a battlefield..of WWI. I saw no mans land..you can imagine what that looked like. In the distance there was a tall, destroyed building. I knew if I could get to it, many questions about my childhood would be answered. Before me was a trench filled with Japanese soldiers with bayonets on their rifles. I was filled with fear as I knew if I tried to get to the building I would be bayonetted. I was so filled with fear, I did not try. I have always believed that something happened in my childhood that was so traumatic, I had blocked it..even to this day.
A lot of what you are saying about trauma work and this form of internal work is spot on. I am a recently qualified art psychotherapist and undertook some research into active imagination (Jung's technique) to investigate my emotions relating to my chronic pain condition. Lucid dreaming is not the same technique however it is about being conscious within the dreamworld/internal imagination. In my research I used art to make tangible some of my interactions with entities/personifications and seek to understand the messages. The main message was to develop self-compassion. With chronic pain this is vital as you learn to hate your body for the pain it gives you. This hate causes relational problems as well as affecting any motivation to move towards positive action.
do you know Robert Waggoner? He describes that in the lucid dream you can heal yourself. Watch out his vids on YT, please! And give your body and pain love. All the best for you.
The key for controlling my dreams was from something I heard which was, you can control anything of your own dreams in your own mind. During a nightmare I summoned powers to be more powerful than the bad guy in my dream. At that point I had godly powers and complete control of my imagination.
I've learned that I only really get nightmares when I'm far too warm when asleep and that my conscience wakes up before my body is freed and it interprets into the dream, then I'm fighting to wake up, fighting to be free.
It is my opinion that she says the dream didn’t heal her it opened her up for healing is because she now has confirmation that she is worthy and their is something higher and more powerful guiding her to her best well being. 🥰😀
You were right about focusing on the why rather than the how. Thank you so much for noting that out as I have figured out the reason why i want to lucid dream, instead of just trying to lucid dream simply cause i want to. I am a master lucid dreamer, godspeed.
I remembered most of my dreams clearly. I like to dream cause it's seems like a different scenarios in the movie. sometimes, your subconscious mind when you dream seems like you go back in time like a time machine ☺️
I learned to do this i gave myself superman's powers 1 time and went Rob a bank they show at me as i walk out with the money all bullets bounce off me as i flies, then fly to italy and ate pizza then a super hot woman walk by i made her levitate on the air and disintegrated her clothes to have a show it was all going great until everything went dark and felt this evil entity everywhere i got really scared and then said wait a minute this is MY DREAM and here I am God then turned everything bright and sunny with green grass flowers and birds and challenge that entity and it didsaperead.... Have not had nightmares ever since
That's so funny that you mention the "bouncing" form of flying, I do that in my dreams quite often and usually once I find out that I can do it, I try to bound around to different places. I never really realized that that was a lucid dream though!
21:46 totally agree, placebo should be the main way we improve our health. Medicine just as the ultimate resource, and specially good for physical trauma.
I've tried to pull things out of my dreams. I was really good at lucid dreaming as a child. I was capable of flying or conceiving powers. I could freeze people make them levitate in mid air. I even remember possessing a creature from my nightmares. I can't remember single dreams these days.
I experienced that lucid dream it happened that I’m not aware about it. But when I wake up I told to my wife that I dreamed. And since I don’t like my dream I wake up my self because I know dreaming.
I just had lucid dream 3 days ago at afternoon then I tried something wonderful I just clicked some photos of surroundings with my phone camera and voila my camera captered the surroundings like in real life
I lucid dream often. I know that if I can think it, I can create it in my dream. Last night I tried to create/manifest for my waking life while I was lucid dreaming. It's much harder in my waking life.
When I fly, my arms are always wide open and I flap them like wings to gain momementum, or especially altitude. Sometimes I struggle to flap fast enough and begin falling. Been flying in dreams since a teenager. Had a lucid dream last night which led me to look this up this morning. I remembered hearing the term lucid dreaming before and wondered if that is what this was. I was fully aware I was dreaming but just observed what was going on for what seemed like ages. I don't think I even tried to intervene with anything. It didn't really occur to me to try. I just kept thinking that it was so cool that I was entirely aware that I was dreaming and that I wished I could feel like that in my waking life (since in my waking life I believe I am also "dreaming" but I just don't yet know how to detach, or I'm afraid to).
Love this, I’ve been working with gamma in my healing practice for a while now with great results and hv also been a vivid and lucid dreamer after 10yrs of daily yoga nidra yum
I have been dreaming every night. Growing up I have very bad nightmares and I am very restless. I had anxiety because most people i love in my dreams are dying. I learned to face and control it but the problem is I can't tell what reality is. my memory of my dreams are very real and my memory of reality I easily forget them.
Lucid dreaming every night? I suggest contacting Daniel love from lucid dream portal. He is open to do scientific studies for people who claim to lucid dream every night. The reason is no one I his 40 years of lucid dreaming has ever been able to prove it in an actual lab. Either they were lying or they didn't know what a real lucid dream was and were just having vivid dreams.
Thats cool mine is the opposite i always have nightmares. at first it was great and slowly it becomes a nightmare and this already happened to me about 14 times and i always have to force to wake up as the screams gets louder and louder and eventually i cant breathe anymore and about 2 sec i wake up with tears dripping down my eyes.
Yesterday I was lucid for a few seconds It was kinda weird cause in the dream I was at school I rondamly think that I should wake up so I kept the idea of waking up on my mind I made the thought stronger and I woke up
"and jesus was a sailor when he walked upon the water and he spent a long time watching from his lonely wooden tower -- and when he knew for certain only drowning men could see him -- he said all men will be sailors then until the sea shall free them". Leonard Cohen ...
I am new to this, but I awoke to reality and been on a spiritual journey for the past 2 years . I haven't remembered my dreams for a long time and am looking into this as the next stage of my journey. I have a journal and am ready to start, so Any tips are welcome. I find it all Absolutely fascinating !😲
I fly by pushing my hands to the ground - held by the hips. The energy that goes from my hands to tha groung makes me lift and start to fly - but I fly standing 😀
I was dreaming that I was shopping in my favorite store ... took my wallet out to pay then walking back home I realized I left my wallet at the counter 😱 ran back to the store 🏬 but I told myself in the dream hey don’t worry the wallet is here next to the bed.😊
How many times a week can you personally Lucid dream? I can Lucid dream but not every night. I can increase it by going to bed early and forcing myself back to sleep. (this doesn't always work)
My reoccurring nightmares are not lucid so I can’t wake myself up even if I wanted to. I have reoccurring dreams of a demon I saw in my basement when I was 16. I’m 35 now. The dream is always the same theme and it feels real.
Hi my name is Justin and I do exactly that I do energy healing and frequency healing you can do it through lucid dreaming or visualization and a number of other things so yes you can heal yourself and I've been teaching that for a while now
Thank you for talking so nice things about lucid dreaming! Though isn't there a risk to harm yourself, physically or mentally? Because even if it's only imagination and visualization, there is an intention in the conscious state and that can be for a wrong reason sometimes.
Don't think I have lucid dream before. But I'm watching because I get this weird dream and it's not like I'm laying in bed asleep. It happened most of the time when I'm really tired and I would knocked out for a couple of minutes or even second as my mind then drift off into a dream stage but at the same time I can sense and still hear noise of the background like my kids voice playing and my partner walk towards me and then quickly open my eyes. Also this one it kind of scares me whereas I'm literally passing out and I see my partner face and feel his presence but then my body jolt that wake me up.
I had a nightmare, I was in some kind a psycho horror house trapped. I remembered to test if I was dreaming by letting the person I see count to 10. I did so with the man, like telepathic and he did just count to 3 and no more. I did it couple of times, and it was always the same. Then I realized it was just a dream and I began to laugh so hard on his face. The whole nightmare crashed 🤣🤣 I never ever had a nightmare since then
So I've been "lucid dreaming" for as long as I remember, but it doesn't occur as an "ah ha" moment, and it doesn't just occur 90 minutes after sleeping. I'll basically start with a daydream that continues throughout the night, and it's usually just some story that I've created in my head that sort of plays out during the night. When I was little, I literally could not fall asleep without starting some kind of story in my head, because I didn't know how to sleep in any other way. Would this still be called "lucid dreaming"?
I was 10yrs old the first time I lucid dreamed. And for the record there wasn’t an internet. To “learn” in fact I was the subject of religious crap. And it wasn’t till I was 45 that I knew it was called lucid dreaming. I always got A’s on all my test because the night before I would dream about it. I couldn’t drive a stick for drivers Ed. Went to sleep the next day I could do it.
Oh, I guess I'm arrogant then. I'm a swimmer and bouncer since childhood in normal dreams. I consciously made myself a superman in my teens. Once I was flying over my hometown at night and looking at all the lights and thought, "that's beautiful but it would be prettier with snow". It was like the hand of God swept from left to right laying snow across the town. I've called up celebrities. All kinds of control.
Ive been trying tp lucid dream like i used to when i was a kid. I’m now 26 with severe head trauma an can no longer dream. I have ptsd cptsd anxiety…. Please help me dream again. I watched this for an hour just for you to say “unless you’ve had a head injury” then you can dream tooo! I haven’t had a dream in 6 years. Please help me. I want to heal.
I have back issues with bad pain. So I scheduled an appointment with my lucid dream Dr. I got there and he turned into a chicken but fortunately he changed back into himself. He did all kinds of treatment to my back. Injected me with lucid pain killers also but For some reason my damn back is still killing me today! 🤷♂️
TESLA, EINSTEIN and many others GREAT minds had ACCESS to their CREATIVE GENIUS through similar processes. How could I watch such a lengthy video, successfully. it's so interesting, i totally loved it. I think because of doing lots of meditation, i dream every early morning, and more than one dream. Compair to my past days I rarely dream. And I quite remember it. Just few days ago I suddenly woke up in my dream. But after that I try it, can not happend again. Plz rpl Mr. Charly. I usually have lucid dreams where I am at a Waterpark of some sort. I can pick which ever slide I want to go on. The slides are all massive.
I wake up when I control too much in my dream. Flying dreams are a lot of fun especially when you are flying w monkeys, lions, eagles 😜
true
Same
Thats cool mine is the opposite i always have nightmares. at first it was great and slowly it becomes a nightmare and this already happened to me about 14 times and i always have to force to wake up as the screams gets louder and louder and eventually i cant breathe anymore and about 2 sec i wake up with tears dripping down my eyes.
Yesterday I was lucid for a few seconds It was kinda weird cause in the dream I was at school I rondamly think that I should wake up so I kept the idea of waking up on my mind I made the thought stronger and I woke up
I’m so psyched!!!! I’m a Mindvalley All Access subscriber, and I’m definitely getting in on this!!! 😍😴

Excellent... Wow.. I pray for all the happiness for all! Thank You.
I fly by pushing my hands to the ground - held by the hips. The energy that goes from my hands to tha groung makes me lift and start to fly - but I fly standing 😀

What a wonderful man he is...!!! I would really take up his course
How many times a week can you personally Lucid dream? I can Lucid dream but not every night. I can increase it by going to bed early and forcing myself back to sleep. (this doesn't always work)
Mate love your passion, integrity and knowledge.
A new big fan.
Thank You.
Thank you so much! 💕 Amazing information!
Because even if it's only imagination and visualization, there is an intention in the conscious state and that can be for a wrong reason sometimes.
thank you so much Charlie
The whole nightmare crashed 🤣🤣 I never ever had a nightmare since then
I levitate and fly in my dreams regularly. I also skate in my dreams or float.
I've had all variations of the visitor. A 200pound monster sitting on me and slowly pulling the blanket from over my head. I'm Lucky he says.
Can you time travel in lucid dreams? Or travelling into universe, travelling galaxies?
Yes
@@alcoholic402 how ?
Yes I have travelled into space .. it was amazing
yep
Katie is dreaming about Nickelback her favorite singer 🖤 Chad 🖤 Katie 🖤
So I've been "lucid dreaming" for as long as I remember, but it doesn't occur as an "ah ha" moment, and it doesn't just occur 90 minutes after sleeping. I'll basically start with a daydream that continues throughout the night, and it's usually just some story that I've created in my head that sort of plays out during the night. When I was little, I literally could not fall asleep without starting some kind of story in my head, because I didn't know how to sleep in any other way. Would this still be called "lucid dreaming"?
Some ideas that are now in my imagination came from dreams that I had.
Why me though? I wasn’t searching for lucid dreaming at 10
Oh, I guess I'm arrogant then.
Awakening state
Thank you 🙏
The part with subconscious reminds me of what Robert Waggoner told in his book inner Gateway

If we had experienced the proper Understanding and training in our early school years, imagine the world we would be living in today. With Gratitude & Appreciation, Thank YOU! < LOVE & LIGHT TO all>
