Hm, I don't hear it with this one. But I find 'Chocolate brown' (lso from 'Wake up and smell the coffee') very reminiscent of their 'No need to argue'-era. It wouldn't have sounded out of place on their second album.

Those who say this is like Zombie don't have a clue. Totally different themes. Zombie is an angry song about the "Troubles" while this is about a love for whom she'll always provide support. Totally different musically. Totally different emotionally, anger versus love. The only similarities are, it's the Cranberries and it's up-tempo as contrasted with songs like Ode to my Family or Linger.

I discovered the Cranberries when I was 9 years old with "Linger", felt in love with this band and Immediately became a fan. When this song was released, I was 18 years old and couldn't understand the meaning of the lyrics. I am 41 years old now, felt into drug addiction 2 years ago and finally go out of it, this song has so much sense to me now. Thank you Dolores, I miss you so much...! Your music will live on forever, thank you for your music which made me want to play as well, this is why I name my first guitar (just like yours, a red ES 335) Dolores.
