This is a cool kit and immediately got it the moment it came out. It looks good even without the stickers. I didnt use any of those on my straightbuild kit and only used silver gundam markets for the thigh and cheek part
the beam mantle is actually not a mantle its just emits light particle coming from a booster and its only straight doesn't fold or sway that's why it's like that, tho I gotta admit the translation to plastic sucks
This thing honistly feels like it's more of a G-Gundam design. If you told me this thing was one of spains prototype mobile suits, I wouldn't have thought twice-
I like this version but I'm not big on the other ones they look very plain compared to this one ! The rising freedom was a fun build though and I am getting ready to build the immortal justice in the next few days so i guess for HG kits they are really good builds and I suggest trying one of them at the very least since this seems to be the new build standard
I'm going to skip this one. The number of stickers that could have been separately molded parts is jarring since the colors already exist on other parts. I get its an HG, if the stickers were different colors than parts already on the kit, I'd understand. I wouldn't mind paying an extra $5 just to have the color separation done properly.
I loove this kit. It was detail heavy (which is good). It has great colour separation and very unike not gundam like design. The only issue for me, were the stickers. I gave up on backpack stickers. Its too hard to apply them evenly, with all those cutouts. All in all my favorite HG 2024 release so far for shure)
I promised myself that I wouldn't pre-ordered any more gunpla, at least untill ive built 75% of the kits i currently have... well... that was a lie. Between yesterday and today I've pre-ordered the 2 Armored Core kits, the RG RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0, the SDCS Silhouette Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam and the HG Gundam Amazing Barbatos Lupus. And I'm not including all the other stuff I've already had pre-ordered like the MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver.) Ver. Ka.

Yeah, not sure if I like how they did it to begin with, but that clear straight edge at the bottom looks really bad. If I get this kit probably going to either cut or short or try for a more jagged look.
Because Gundam is known for only gaving realistic grounded designs all the time with no exceptions. All real robot except G Gundam and never anything fancy.
too bad all of the *Black Knight Squad* mecha doesn't have the "seed freedom action system" 😅 idk why Bandai only do the seed freedom action system for Downfall Freedom and Mortal Justice 😅 *note that Mighty Strike Freedom & Infinite Justice Type II also had seed freedom action system but isn't released yet
Its just kinda jarring to see such design, I mean while you can trace the lineage of design and tech but this one is somewhat out of nowhere to compare with other Cosmic Era mech
I agree on that. It’s so wildly different. But I haven’t seen the movie yet and don’t know anything about where the suit came from so I wasn’t too worried about it
The design is fugly as hell (especially the helmet and the snow/ski boots), and the pilots of these things were forgettable clowns in the movie but I kinda want this just for a slightly different build experience

Ive loved the design the moment I saw it. The red, black, and white colors and the dual beam sword look so badass

I agree. The huge amount of stickers that the Seed Freedom kits have shows how lazy they made these kits Just to exploit the movie popularity

Zaku II Revive basically doesn't have seamlines and the only sticker is the monoeye.
Overall nice kit but man those beam capes doesn't really translate well into models imo

Interesting design but the stickers are a deal-killer. Ever think the box art is so good that it's a letdown when the kit is built?
