Hi, i was wondering why my x6 transmitter backlight doesnt work, is there some sort of settings to disable or emable it?
Love XK helis (after trying MCPX, MCPX BL etc). Initially had XK100 and liked it so much that I bought XK110, then another XK110, then XK123 & XK124. All excellent. Much better than blade micros and all have good gyros, very durable and have proper servos

Great video. I purchased a K100 and a K130, both RTF. Then it donned on me that they use the same radio. Well hell, then I decided to get the K120 w/o the radio and bind it to the one for the K100. Life is great. Going to try and fly 3D with the K100 first before the other two. Just in case.
Excellent video, you really cleared up some issues I wasn't sure about, especially the transmitter. I know this video is 4 years old, I've just got the K110S, with the XK6 transmitter. It's very good, I've just flown it outside for the first time, with stabilisation on, and didn't crash it once, after I had tamed it quite a bit. Straight out of the box it was too wild for my liking. I'm not ready for 3D yet, just flying scale. Thanks for this great video, it's helped me a lot!
Good job James! It is not real clear the differences until you compare the helis side by side.
Just purchased the k124 and AS350 450 size from Motion RC. Having a blast with the k124 and still setting up the AS350, beautiful helicopter. Am planning on buying a second to customize. It was a pleasure dealing with motion RC and I will be buying from them again.
I definitely appreciate a video like this. Like you said early in the video that the product page can be a little skimpy with info on these helicopters but your video should definitely answer many questions. I would buy one of those but I’m still waiting for you Admiral Helicopters to come out! But great video 😀

I got the XK 110 on order, hope it turns out to be a reliable little flyer, unlike the Xk130. The reviews of the XK 110
are good so it should be OK. Q; I wonder if a control board of an XK110 would work in my broken XK130? could be an idea for a cheap fix.

1-on d/r setting what do the numbers represent ? percentage ?
2-in idle up mode isnt the rpm supposed to be constant and only the pitch is changing ? if so why did you put variable number in idle number mode ?

Hey naybe I missed it somehow but when setting D/R and Expo you didnt show us how we need to set both sides of each stick! when you dialed in a expo you need to move your sticks to all positions and you will see everything is wonky now...

HI, I want to use this radio with the Eachine 180, I have managed to set up most things an your video was very helpful, but how do you set the 3D 6G switch and settings, it does seem impossible on this radio, how do you set any switch....? Thanks Malc UK

have you tried binding these up to a Futaba radio by the way? I couldn't get it to work with a T14SG (which does all Futaba protocols)
I have not yet, but I'm sure someone at my field will have a futaba, maybe I'll try it when I take them for some flying
30:36 is thy gyro just the tail motor or the whole stability of the helicopter (lower gyro=more acrobatic?)?
I think it is the whole stability of the heli, and if you dial down the gyro gain, it becomes very twitchy (I know some people call it aerobatic🤣🤣🤣)
i saw there's a ppm port. Can I connect the transmitter to a simulator?
In this video you mentioned that it is possible to "disable" the throttel for a plane. How is this done ? I just got the X6 transmitter and want to use it with my XK A600 .... Thanks
I don't know about xk x6 transmitter but I have done that on older spektrum dx6i, and basically you set plane as a heli

How to reset x6 to factory setting?
I've just bought a K100 and it has a mind of its own. In 6G mode it sometimes will start to lift off OK, then for no reason it will start spinning as if the tail motor isn't working. Check tail motor, sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. So far I'm not impressed with this heli. It could be that a setting is wrong somewhere, but I think I have a dodgy tail motor. Do you have any suggestions? I didn't buy the heli from you
Check the tail rotor connector, it's tiny, it may have come loose.
I had this issue a few times getting started, I'd land hard/crash etc and a connector would start coming loose.
If it's not that best to contact the place you bought it.
One question guys... has the X6 transmitter mode4? Or mode 1 and mode 2 only?

Hey motion RC pls tell me how to set normal mode in xk k123,,,,,, because my remote was wrong working then I had to refractory setting don Since then it has not been taking off
I think the best way is to set it as he explains it and then come back with any questions. If your heli does not lift off, then look at throttle and pitch curves
☠BLACK BARON☠ My tail suddenly no longer holds and freaks out during flight on my K124. I already changed the tail motor. No result. Tail is totally unstable. What can I do? 22:40 D/R ( = 80, 80, 80) and Gyro ( = 75) settings are factory default ... no better results no matter what entries I use. Any iDeas?

I dont believe the Transmitter for the xk k100 is compatible with the others. I bought a k100 that had a bad transmitter and I also bought a 110 that arrived later. The xk k110 transmitter that youve been showing does not work for the k100. They wouldnt give me a refund or replace the transmitter(after 30 days) so I was screwed, at least I thought because I have since canabolized the 100 for parts for the 110. So the main flight board is different and I believe the esc is s well as it uses a brushed motor

Hey - great video! I recently bought a K100 BNF from eBay with the promise that it would bind with any 2.4 GHz 6CH transmitter.
However, when trying to bind with my CopterX transmitter, no joy so is the seller is trying it on? Thanks 🌈🚁🌈🚁

It will only bind with FHSS Futaba protocol (not all Futaba are FHSS)

Throttle curve and Pitch Curve. I never changed them from the stock settings

Yes they can all run from the same transmitter.
You're only limited by how many you want setup on the controller all at once.

That's very subjective and also depends on what you want/like/need/can afford etc etc.
Do you like scale or just really like flying heli's.
You'll probably get the longer flight time and more 'punch' out of the 2s battery, which is strangely only on the XK120. Would've been nice to see that battery used on the 123 & 124 also
Those are coreless motors, not brushed motors.
How do you bind it to another model?
At 36:00 he shows how... It jumps the video so could be confusing.
Change model number, press and hold the little bind button (he shows where it is on the XK120) hold the button until it binds/turns the led blue.

My XK 130 died very quickly, very dissapointed in it.I may give XK one more chance and Buy an BNF XK 110 as it's got good reviews, should do me.What I really need is a nice blade or similar of ebay.I consider buying KDS innova 450, could get kit or ARTF. I want a good reliable heli, not junk that breaks after a week.

All helis can break. I bought the 2nd XK110 just in case I break the first one and both are going strong. I would highly recomend XK110. I have bought some 500mAh batteries (can’t put the canopy on with that) and get over 12 minutes of hovering with each battery
@@heavenscanwait I suppose so, but I expect them to last longer.I have a Bugs 3 still going strong after 2 years, so a few weeks longevity is rubbish.I consider model durability the mark of a quality product.Plus we put a lot of money into these things so £115 I paid for XK130 is no small change.Hopefully Xk110 will prove better and restore faith in the brand.I got some 1 cell Lipo's here, should work with the Xk110.
I would modify your canopy to fit on with your 500mah lipo's.
Did the electronics die or did you crash it?
@@MotionRC I did have a few crashes, but I just kept putting it all back together again (it's not very strong heli, and needs metal gear servo's as well)
then after I fitted new servos I disconnected the motor so I could check servo travel.I reconnected it and nothing, wouldn't spool up.So the electronics had died. Could be fixed, but I have just ordered an XK110 instead.I am wondering if an XK110 motherboard would work in this heli?
Maybe I missed it but can someone tell me which of these helis is easier to fly? Does the 123 fly the same as the 124? I like the 124 but I've seen to many videos describing how difficult it is to put the 124's canopy back on its frame. Since they all have the 6G gyro I would think that they basically all have the same flight characteristics as far as ease of flight.I would like to buy the easiest one to fly. If anybody with knowledge and/or experience with these could suggest one for me, I'd really appreciate it.
They are all pretty similar in flight if flying scale. The more expensive ones have beefier parts and could make crashes less damaging.

@@JohnTaylor-ne2kz If this will be your first heli to try and learn orientation, go with whichever doesn't hurt your pocket the least and you like the looks of. Personally, I prefer the scale looking heli's to the 3d style ones, but they all fly well and are great to learn on and have fun with in the yard

Make sure your board is level and is vibration dampened. If the board isn't level it will think the heli isn't. Hope this helps!

It does. I have a K130 and a K100. I bound both helicopters to one radio and they both work fine.

Is it possible to flash the firmware again? My stick values go only from 4 to 100 when neg expo is used insted of 0 to 100. This doesnt apear when pos expo is used.

You can't name the model? You have to remember what # is What? I guess if you had a handful you could stick a piece of tape on the side on the radio with what # is what.

I have XK110, 123 & 124. There have numbers 2, 3 & 4 respectively (according to the number of main blades). both XK110s are bound to the same model number (I think🤔)
