Hello Kevin this is David here, a long term subscriber and more experienced EAFC user. Transfer listing can be done via the squad hub in the squad sub menu. You can also block offers for any players you want to keep from the same screen as well as contract renewals and so on

You can train players to play in a different position. Timber to RB could be an option to explore.
I also recommend selecting a special training plan for all your senior and youth players. Makes them better faster

Kev when you get a youth report back sign/ reject all the ones you want/don’t want and they’ll find a bunch of new players the following month

Setup 2 team sheets, one first team, one rotation, setup the players you want in each team and just swap between the sheets.

Maybe your right about the game is telling you to enter the game and play it yourself because if you did you would have had shots on goal, keep the videos coming as im loving them and im waiting for the day were you actually lose and say enough is enough and manually take control on world class that is not legendary

Change up to a Tika taka tactic as the players have better stats for that type of play.
Also odegaard to a playmaker role and change Martinelli to a winger and not inside forward to create width and allow nuno mendes to double up on the fullback.
Also in tactical view, you can change the camera view by using the RT, you are doing Rb instead which changes the focus onto individual players and not the camera view

It’s unplayable if you want to sim matches. You get beat the majority of the time, like you say they force you to play

One you go to the match screen, you should be able to change your matchday squad, same as FM.
I haven't played this year's EAFC yet, but that's how it's always been done.
You can also change the strips. Which you definitely have to check each time because EA only makes a billion dollars from this franchise & they can't afford to add the sort of feature that prevents kit clashes.

The game was designed and meant to be played (ie. controlling players on the pitch). All the rest is gravy. Simming was only ever added to allow players to get through a season quicker, but most gamers don't use it - I certainly NEVER used it. But people's attention spans seems to be ever decreasing, so who knows now - EA should have improved the simming experience to match the trend...

Player Transfers faze out after a week. You might to wait and sign Hakimi outside the window and he'll join in Januray.

Kev, all your players lack sharpness, you need to go on training plan and make sure your players are training as hard as they can whilst still maintaining stamina. This is why they aren’t performing!

EA is trash BUT when you said it feels like your input doesn't appear to be working I wondered what input do you mean?
The part where you let the players have no training, the part where you bounce around screens but don't actually do anything (scouting) the part where you basically leave everything on default or the part where you fluff up every transfer by rushing through and either overpay with a ton of cash and a player OR you offer nothing for a starting 11 player lol

Transfers are normally set to easy when you start a career. If you raise the transfer difficulty I think it will reduce that significantly.

This gameplay is just normal FIFA nonsense, isn't it? It's why when people play the matches for real and are actually good at the game, it has very little resemblance to actual football. People get frustrated at FM but fundamentally the match engine is echelons better than what this game can produce

Your offers are horrible haha you have 0% chance of signing players if you don't at least bit the market value and you made another mistake you offered only Tomiyasu and no extra money for Hakimi so you offered a 14mil player for a 40-80 mill player haha 😂 no wonder they where laughing at your offer
