Well you asked for it, so here it is! My first ever EA FC career mode series, managing Arsenal. We're committing for at least one season, so if you want to see it continue beyond that, make sure you're watching, liking and commenting on all the videos! And before you start to panic, making FC25 content doesn't mean the Football Manager videos are going anywhere! We're allowed to enjoy both games!

Kev, when you add a player to the negotiation remember to change the money amount you want to offer. You wasted most of your money on Mendes by offering £58m plus Tierney instead of £45m plus him. Also keep an eye on the budget in the top left when negotiating 👍

Swapping Tierney alongside the full £58m for Mendes 😂. You need to reduce the transfer offer if you swap a player against their market value. Plus utilising 'Sell on percentage' to lower your transfer offer further.

Brilliant video. One thing I think I should mention is that the "sign 4 players in your youth academy" objective means scouting youth players and sending them into your academy, not promoting players already in your youth academy to the first team
I don't mind you not playing the matches, offers something different and personally I like this so far
Sweet Cheeks, there is an option in the game to view squad hub and from there you can transfer list players, loan list player and retrain a players position and role. I am loving the new content by the way

Great stuff! I like the idea of most matches on 2D, bigger matches on 3D. Also you need to hire a youth scout and send them out, so you get a monthly intake into your youth squad
First time watching your video in a quite a while and all I can say is, I am glad you're just a video game player and not involved in dealing with Arsenal's recruitment in real life. This must be what Todd Bohely is like going about his business
you remind me so much of myself - amazing at FM and then not great at playing fifa - but enjoy it - this series is a breath of fresh air - would be good to continue it even when FM comes out - you are the king of scenarios as well can you imagine a non league to legend on this with you :)
i actually enjoy this so much, very detailed and minimal cuts compared to other fifa career mode creators
Yeah maybe sim one or two matches an episode and one being shown tactical view, and maybe a few times a season you play

Gets offered Mendes for 58 mil. Takes Mendes for 58 mil + Tierney. Solid.
Kev you have opened my mind to actually manage rather than play!! It’s absolutely brilliant and I’ve loved watching it. It’s basically fm in the eafc match engine.

Kev, if you are looking for youth players to pass an objecive you can scout for some adding ur desired position and role you want them to look for

With the youth academy kev, you don’t have to promote the ones you already have you can set up separate youth scouts and find young players that way

I'm liking this. Showing the match is definitely better than the 2D view. Would like to see a lower league save when this is over, although I don't know how low the leagues go in FC25
I prefer the 2D but overall I just like watching someone play this game the way they want. I want the Kev Way

Be careful when using the money, ur first player they wanted the fee, when you counter the offer it starts with their offer so you offered their price plus a player that's why you lost your money
Kev for the most FM Experience please use Tactical View and enjoy 😉
If you head into the options you should have an option to remove the hold to skip for the cut scenes so you can just press it once
Not buying Gyokeres is crazy. Btw, I would recommend not swapping players If the aren't 75 rated and above cause you can sell them for a lot more.
For the youth team, you need to assing youth scouts to sign new players. They won't just appear as the season goes!
Even tho a support Tottenham and you doing stuff with arsenal I enjoy your content no matter what it is :) keep this going be something a little different

I like you playing the large clubs. I enjoy the building but lets face it. English football with large clubs is exciting And European Football would be very fun also.
You could set the half time shorter in the settings if you want to use the tactical screen rather than the sim, i believe the lowest half time u can have is around 3 or 4 minutes
Rebuilding one of the most recently successfully rebuilt teams in Europe seems proper weird tbh - like, could have taken Chelsea, West Ham or Everton on
Obvs rebuilding the club he supports as his first ever club like most people do, and he explains in his video it’s a 1 season thing - it’s really not that deep.
Or using the word rebuild in the title because the algorithm loves it?

Also when you click on a player the game tells you their asking price but also what they might accept to get ur transfers better

While everyone seems focused on the transfer & swap I just want to mention something about the objectives, I realise I could be wrong about this but the way I read the signing youth players objective is not to bring them to the main team but sign one of each of those positions to the youth team through youth scouts.
Kev and the transfer fees really frustrated me 😂😂 but all the same great video

Did you hire youth scouts and send them to start scouting for youth players. Youth academy doesn’t just add players every year like FM.
Camera called Broadcast is best for tv-like tactical view.

If you hold R2 in the cutscenes (like if u get a corner) it will give you a suggested auto sub so you dont have to back out
top left corner shows your transfer and wage budget and their current wage is shown on the left
Swapping Trossard for Yoro with a £300k transfer fee is wild!

Removing with and without ball from FM was a mistake. I'd love to be able to define overall team shape with and without the ball and then assign roles
keep an eye on transfer fee , as you agreed on their money aswell as player

Kev, I am sorry for you x) EA has been pathetic for Career Mode for years.. so many bugs (stamina for example), so many bad decisions and it is plain borring after a season or two. And, on top of that, you can play only 15 seasons, officially.

sim view was boring to watch, even with commentary, that tactical view was way better even if it was longer (was it? Seemed like it) Even though the animations seem SUPER janky..do they use a different engine for the career mode and the actual "fifa" gameplay thingie? Something just seemed...off, when they were running and moving around.
Pick a new team. MGH already is playing as Arsenal and does the yearly Arsenal save.
