You guys evolve but also keep pieces of the sound you’ve always had. Every aspect obviously isn’t always manifested in each subsequent album, but you manage to always sound different...yet familiar. This is not a new concept that I’m discovering, but the way in which you guys actualize it, is unique. Would’ve liked to one day pique all of your brains over some medicine, but I’ll settle for your listening to your music.

Good Lord this album is soooo good. I saw passafire at a Pepper concert years ago and found submersible and followed them ever since. I love reggae and the sub-styles like passafire but my main issue with reggae bands is they talk to much about smoking weed and getting high. passafire has risen above that typical reggae stoner persona and has created something more beautiful than getting high; they have good music.
Richard Owens Absolutely not. Reggae dub goes way past the "permanent vacation" vibe. It's about standing firm as Rastafari and chanting down Babylon. It's about destroying the system the 1% has imposed on us. Dreadlocks are an extension of the soul, not a dumb fashion statement. True Rasta only fear God. Rastafarianism is Christianity with Afrocentric roots. Jesus is not white. He's mixed heritage but predominantly black.
