Love watching your videos, it's cool that your here in the Ozarks instead of some soft northern area. The Ozarks can eat up a good man, you be careful here. People come here all the time and go missing/dead and I'm not talking about the environment. however the environment here kills people by the hundreds also, the beauty is deceiving.
Josh, watching your videos transfers me to the another, better world. Wish I was there, wish I could breathe that air and make jokes with you. Stay strong and happy!
Nice show and tell there GBGB , Time stamp at 9:38 ish when you hammering that tent ⛺️ stake its either a bear 🐻 growling , big foot 🦶 or your really hungry I have my ear buds in and I hear everything 😂👍👌✌️🫡🇺🇸
I'm not Josh but as far as my ¢2 goes, I came down and did part of the Ozark trail in Missouri, to include the Tom Sauk loop and I fell in love. I plan on heading back out next spring or summer a few times. Those are some beautiful hills.
@@ElijahKleinsmith I'll add them to my list and probably hit at least one next year. I'm heading over to Indiana for my next trip, but I definitely want to explore more of the Ozarks. Thanks!
When I run into roots or big rocks, I tie a truss on a big rock and use it for an anchor. And if wind is expected, I will anchor the awning with large rocks as well as stakes.
Greetings. I have a question about the best type of topographic map case I need to be looking for. I purchased topos for my local area in South Georgia. A total of 3 maps that are 24x29. I want to put them in a pack. Any suggestions on a good case.
Love the Ozarks

I would be willing to bet a fresh, crisp $100 bill he’s ready for critters of the four and TWO legged variety.
You talking about Missing 411?
Thanks Josh. Yup, you jinxed those stakes for sure!! Great video. I need to sit down this weekend and build that in my backyard.

I'm really enjoying this series. Thanks for the great content.
Great video
Excellent build sir! Really like the OFF ground idea! Since are plenty of creepy crawlies that will take vover with you , and a lot of them bite!
👍❤️👍
I need to build a couple of these on my property! Thanks for the experience!

I’d love to hear what you think of the Ozarks. It’s where I grew up and still love to backpack and escape there more than anywhere else.

@@ajherring92 I'd recommend doing Goat Bluff, Hemmed-In Hollow, and/or the Buffalo River Trail. The whole Buffalo National River area is spectacular.

Good stuff as usual.

Another great video. Thanks Joshua. But where is the iPhone holder?
You must be in Arkansas somewhere, ever time it rains we get anew crop of rocks, but I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else
As far as weather, do you specify which way you build your shelter? Do you take common weather patterns when you prepare your shelter?
What do you do for mosquitos ? Besides bug spray, if you don't have spray with you. I would get eaten alive.
Could you recommend a quality yet inexpensive tarp? I have a cheap nylon tarp but I'm looking for something with a little more durability.

The entire video was so dark I couldn't see anything. I hate being negative but.......
