Today is 18 December. 1132 hours. It's 63F. Eastern North Carolina. Yesterday it was 72F. Temps have been wild the past two months. We had a few hard freezes last month. Temps are supposed to drop this weekend. Talk about a roller coaster! I donated my shop heater to a group sending supplies to the storm victims in Western North Carolina. They need it there more than I do. Merry Christmas to you, Mrs. P, Riley Boy and Nana.
Indeed Mick all the war heroes laying in bed freezing is a complete joke ! , also just the reg oap, I finally have my workshop built and have been enjoying it, my diesel heater is running nicely 20 mins on 10 and it’s down to 1 great little device.
Hi Mick . Hope you are well, and Merry Christmas. I have one of these heaters out in the garage. They do make a difference, as long as the building has no gaps for the heat to get out. I’ve had mine for around two years, too. It’s a good idea to have it on a battery supply with a permanent charger on it though, in case you have a power cut, otherwise, the motherboard will fry, and you will need to get a new one. All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧
Handy bit of kit Mick, I have the small stove in my shed takes a while to heat the place, but that good to hear you can get them heaters with an app to switch them on that would be handy, thanks for sharing this 👍
Good video Mick, and up here in the north Canada, I use the diesel heater in the camper and mix the fuel 50/50 kerosene with diesel, if they run all day and night the fuel usage is a fill up per day, also mick snow blower repairs would keep you busy all winter. Wearing the shorts might be a little hard on skin with frostbite. Merry Christmas to yourself, Mrs. P, Riley boy and nanna, and of course little Pip..
Hi Mick my diesel heater is a godsend i use mine most days i don't use 5 liters a week. I had mine 3 years bad of me I know but I never serviced it but is brilliant I rarely put it up to 3
Thought a little pat on the back wouldn't hurt right about now. Been a rough year, for both of us. Here's to a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year....
I am getting ready to move north a bit, so I suppose I am going to need to heat the shop next winter. It's interesting to see how everyone else does it. 👍
I can help you with conditioning yourself to perform cold-weather repairs. I have already told John to come up to Western Canada to tear down a snowblower with the heat turned off in the garage. Come on over. It will be a great livestream repair for Ken. ❄️❄️❄️❄️
@@themowerman Fantastic. What you need to do is book a flight to Toronto. Then, book a flight to Calgary. Then take a flight to southern Saskatchewan. From there, a 2 hour ride by dog-sled and you'll be here. Kindly forward the travel instructions to John Klem at your earliest convenience. 👌
Bit click batey, i didn't see any flames 🙄 I do watch your videos for any tips you dish out, no point in reinventing the wheel when mick has already done it 👍🇮🇪
Limit Your Usage Since many Chinese diesel heaters are manufactured with lower-quality materials and aren’t typically as safe as competitor products, you’ll want to limit how long and how often you use them.

@@wrxs1781 We don’t get enough snow in most of the UK for a snowblower. In fact I’ve never seen one except on TH-cam.

Personal experience? Give us some examples that you know of. Thanks.
@Dstromb232 I think your information is misled, years ago, Chinese products were shabby, but nowadays their quality is as good as anyone's.
