I know this was a few years back, but kudos to Pedal Pawn for a very cool clone of a clone! ;) One thing I would say, that surge quality of the Tychobrahe sets it apart. Got mine while in junior high school, box and all, 1973. The Box disappeared over the years, but such a wild pedal. That surge, ala SRV in Life Without You. Pure Heaven.
i finally got one last week, from andertons, and i'm blown away! i'm an octave fuzz nut, and this pedal is the best one i've ever played. the octave is always clear where-ever you are on the neck. when dimed my box is an absolute fuzz-horror \m/ but as i dial back, on both level and boost, there are all-sorts of cleaner, and usable sounds...all the way back to zero. there's some great ring-mod stuff going on in the 10-12 o'clock area. i'm noticing that your pedals have that meaty thump/thud that the old-school greats had - they weren't just the effect, they had something else, something solid, that just lit up a stack.
What guitar, amp, and other pedals are you using in this demo? My Octone sounds like hot garbage. Either it got damaged in shipping or I’m doing something very wrong.
@@DaddySoulDonut a wah that has a buffered bypass when on to convert the output to have a low impedance. I'm not an expert but think that should work. Someone, please, correct me if I'm wrong.
How did you guys achieve the prominent octave throughout all ranges on the Octone? Did you combine a slight always on octave with the circuit, or just improve the original?
This is so huge since it opens up brand new sounds unheard down on the low frets... Running the boost low, into a ripping drive, yeilds absolutely disgusting power chords, low single notes, fat and almost synth like
Thanks so much guys!
Our OCTONE ™ is now here 🚀🟦

Couldn't be happier with my Octone. Best fun I've had with my clothes on for ages! Happy I got mine early doors on 'Michael Monday'.😁
🤣🙌❤️ Genius mate, thanks so much
I see what you did here and I love it. I lean towards the original's sound but I love how with both you have so much variation and possibility.

Deluxe reverb reissue
Are you running your amp clean or cranked?
What's next for you guys? A wah with a buffer so that it can work in front of your Fuzzes?
Thought you need to keep buffered signal away from fuzz input?

@@abelwritesmusic I'll let you know if you're wrong because I ordered a device such as that to install into my wah
@@DaddySoulDonut oh! Yes, please do!

Thanks a lot for the question. We enhanced the original by tweaking the parameters quite a bit 🚀❤️
@@PedalPawn that’s what I like to hear. I might need to buy one of these…

Less noise..
That’s a good point haha
“Not very Octavia-ish”?
How is that possible lol.
