Ahead of their time! Animal Magic helped many children to become interested in animals, wildlife and conservation. These programmes should be broadcast today so that this generation can enjoy and learn. It's essential we all learn to better care for wildlife and stop abusing it. If people across the world stopped killing, cooking and eating diseased bats that would be a good start!!!

Undoubtedly, but I believe they are referred to as "prawns" by the locals. I'm not sure what word they use for the smaller crustaceans! 😎

Well maybe, but doubly ironic, that a naturalist, who lived, or was at that time living there, and the locals, who fish for a living, were all wrong.
