Can you turn down the noise suppression on the audio. It’s so hard to hear the the great stuff being said!

Aaron Renn is simply not that helpful. He has a weak, shallow theology of family, if he has one at all. He too quickly dismisses biblical instruction about children, and parents’ responsibility to spiritually and morally disciple their children. My wife had a six figure salary when she stepped out of the labor market. The work she now accomplishes for our family, classical Christian education cooperative, and local church far exceeds that six figure salary. We are able to exercise hospitality four-six times a month, because she’s available to prepare to receive guests. This strengthens our local church, as we invite new believes for discipleship and non-believers for evangelism into our family’s life. We also have the opportunity to invite guests to join us for family devotions, as we nightly read, sing, and pray the word of God together. We all have blind spots (not every family can afford to live on a single salary, for example-I get that). But Aaron’s blind spot here seriously undermines his mission. Parents working 80-100 hours a week while non-family members and the state raise their children has been destructive of both the family and the local church. Therefore, read Wilson, not Renn.

Aaron married later in life. His book Life in the Negative World of which this podcast is based on reflects a deep thinker. He may not get 'everything' right, but who does, except Jesus? Imho, he is a sort of 'cultural prophet' who speaks to the church and while we live in the present, we need to understand what is and will be happening the next 5 - 25 years. He is a man from the tribe of Issachar. 1 Chron 12:32

Wow. Intelligent people learn to filter information. And if you can't see the massive worth of Rogan and Jones, you are wandering in the dark. Nobody wants an info hero, ww take the good with the bad.

Interesting Interview, Iuse to think that woman should just be at home but my position changed recently so I would honestly not want a house wife maybe during child bearing and breastfeeding.
