Maybe Maeve associates those containers with something good like blueberries and is so confused when she can't find the good food she expects to be in them. Like if she removes all the raspberries there would be blueberries or some other fruit she likes underneath them.
It's good to see that beatrix is slowly getting used to life with you

They eat blueberries daily.
Anything citrus is probably off the table but I'll do a little research first. Maybe a little citrus wouldn't be a problem for one video... But typically citrus fruits are a no-no for toucans.
@@2CANTV Well if it helps, I did do a bit of research before suggesting the pineapple.
Pineapple is technically not a citrus fruit.
However, it does contain some vitamin C, which does make it a little acidic, but nowhere near as bad as say, an orange.
So based on that, I don't believe a little bit of pineapple would be harmful to the birds.
But, if you don't feel comfortable giving them pineapple, I'll stick with my other suggestion, blackberries.
Or, if you can find any, you can try pineberries.
What about the pineapple. If it's not poisonous

Starfruit and kiwi would be interesting! I'm especially curious how Maeve would react to the fuzzy kiwi skin, honestly. You did different types of grapes with Ripley in an older video and that might be interesting to replicate with the birds now. Honeydew or other types of melon, maybe? Loved seeing Beatrix in the video, she looks so much better than when you first brought her home. (And I feel you on the needing a haircut front, mine's driving me insane!)

Honestly, Maeve's antics were my favorite parts of the video. 😂 I always get a kick out of how the birds behave. Toupac is so chill, occasionally speaking to you with his machine gun noises. Maeve is just controlled chaos. Makes my day 😂

It’s really amazing how healthy Tupac looks. His beak looks great, he looks like a happy old man.
Toupac's beak is looking amazing, it's practically sparkling. It's been amazing to watch him heal, and seeing Beatrix slowly warm up has been wonderful as well.

Corn might be nice for them. My Indian Ringneck absolutely loves corn and will virtually fall off her perches in an attempt to hold it for herself (corn on the cob).
I’d love to see how they’d react to peaches or plums if you could get your hands on either of those fruits :)

Toupac and his basket. I think that Toupac wants to dig the dirt in his favorite basket. When Brock here first got Toupac, the guy did say that Toupac loved to dig in the dirt.

I noticed all three toucans doing the head shake and rubbing their bill on the perch. It looks like they’re trying to get the taste out of their beak.

I know beatrix has some challenges right now but i have to say that I have learned so much from her, maybe even more than any of the others. I have watched all of Brock's 'cans and it is so intriguing to see how distinct and unique their personalities are.
Maeve is so full of personality😁 who knew🤣😂 she was quite leary of all of the shenanigans for a little bit at first but she most definitely worked her way into the flock. Beatrix seems to be getting better also. I guess this makes Brock a Toucan whisperer🙂. They all look amazing and healthy Beaks and feathers.
It's probably because raspberries are slightly furry, so it'll be an odd sensation on their tongues - unless they are used to it.
AAh i know these Raspberries..we also have these Driscolls in denmark :D but i just wait to summer, then they are free to eat from the bushes around the forests :D
It's nice to see how good you treat them. In Costa Rica is illegal to own a toucan, so it's interesting to me seeing how they behave up close

Meave has come along way, Bea has a beautiful beak, and toupac, well , just trusts you so much. I love the 3 some. What a combo you have , never a dull day, thank you for your vids, most important the daily care and cleaning, the love for them, your gentle care for them, and the person you are. And the vet care, the meds, rehab if needed, your devotion to there well being. The expense. You are a good soul, thanks for being that soul. I can't wait to see you and a partner doing this together.
