So incredibly helpful! I’ve gone through this a few times (and maybe one more) before I start on the striped corner to corner baby blanket! Thank-you!!
I found your video very clear and easy to understand - thank you! Just as an fyi......In the intro to the video you talk about section 1 being Increase on Both Sides, but at minute 3:35 of the video the title slide for Section 1 states Decrease on Both sides. The titles for Section 2 and Section 3 are correct.
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. Is there a formula for making a specific size rectangle? Warm Up America (WUA) uses 7"×9" rectangles. How do I know when to start decreasing for that size?
ty!! enjoyed the tutorial! do you find that there’s a bias/skew with this stitch and how would you minimise it? I realised that I cant fold my blanket perfectly cos its slanted on the diagonal.
In the video after you finish your drawing, the screen says section 1 decrease on both sides. Isn’t that supposed to say section 1 increase on both sides?
Hi. I’m a new subscriber and SO happy that I stumbled onto your videos! I also went to your blog, absolutely love it! Thank you for all your time and effort, for beginners like myself it’s a great feeling to find someone who makes sure the stitch itself is throughly understood just as much as the terminology 😊 Thank you again and I hope you continue to put out these wonderful wonderful videos! ❤️ 💫
This is designed more for a blanket. If I kept the same hook size but a smaller yarn, it should work for a summer sweater, right? I’ve not worked this stitch before.
Hi, Im doing a small lap blanket in Malabrigo Rios its a 10 Ply Worsted yarn but knits up in either Lt Worsted or Worsted depending on needle size. Malabrigo state Knit Gauge: 18.0 to 22.0 sts = 4 inches Needle Size: 4 - 5mm and Hook Size: 5.5-6.5 mm. Ive seen some examples using #3 Yarn and a size 6mm hook to get nice drape with the Moss stitch i.e.not too tight, but not loose either. So with the Malabrigo Rios should I go up to a size 7mm hook?
I bought the pattern, watched the video of the start like 6 times and still so lost. 😭 Where is the chain 2 space for row 2? Can you add in close ups showing these spaces?
i’m trying to make this for a temperature blanket and i’m having problems figuring out the stitches for a rectangle, how many should i be doing if i need 365 rows? would 160 increasing 45 increase on one side decrease on other and 160 decreasing work?
I’m not sure whether this is relevant but I watched another TH-camr doing a different corner to corner. I’m also making a temperature blanket and she suggested you work the increases both sides (increase/increase) until the width of the blanket is what you want. For example, if after 100 rows, I’m happy with the width of the blanket, I would do 165 rows increase/decrease and then 100 decrease/decrease. From what I understand it is almost irrelevant how long your middle section is. Just carry on working the rows until you have the width and then work it out from 365. Hope this helps. If you want the link to the other video let me know but she wasn’t making a temp. blanket! Hope this helps
Hello! Is it possible to use the C2C moss stitch to build a graphgan picture or would the picture look fuzzy/wonky? I don’t want the holes that the double crochet creates x
It's a nope for me. Can't find the ch1 sp's. I'm not a beginner either, lol, but it's still a nope for me. *Edit: Scrolling through the comments and seeing that everyone else but me seems to get it. LOLOL
I couldn't find it either...but after 3 restarts I am in love...I had to figure out how to count each row of SC increasing by one...then I could see where those chain 1 spaces were!
Very calm and upbeat voice and modulation. Good placement of sample, no jerking around. Easy to see and understand.excellent tutorial.

Thanks for a quick and easy tutorial! I immediately started a new project.
Great teaching of the stitch. It was easy to understand the method of doing them. Lovely share.
I have watched several c2c vids yours was the only one I could understand
You are......seriously......an amazing teacher. Thank you so much!
Ps the is the best tutorial for this pattern ive ever seen! Thank u
I'm so glad I found this. I've been looking for something like this since the new year.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It’s so easy to follow and it gave me the confidence and push I needed to make this blanket.
Just found this video from a friend and shared in my crochet group.
I'm a visual learner and the diagrams were amazing!! Thank you!
The first time, ever, I understood This! Thank you soooooo much!
Yours is the clearest explanation of c2c moss stitch I've seen. Thank you so much.
I LOVE this! What other stitches can I do C2C?!? C2C is my complete favorite 🥰
This was so much fun, thank you for sharing 😊
Your video is SO easy to follow. I’m having an issue with my work not being straight though. It starts to curve after I do a few rows

Wonderful so clear and thank you very much, I will keep watching more videos you share. Thank you again, so awesome!
Thanks for the diagrams. It is a very clever idea. Thank you!
So how do you alter this pattern for an adult size afghan?
Hola desde España, sería estupendo poder leer los subtítulos en español !
Gracias por ofrecernos labores tan hermosas !
Thank you but stitches are so small it’s hard to see where to put the hook, how many rows did you do before changing colors
Is there a tutorial for the border?
There is, if you go to her blog, she has a link for the border
How do you change skeins without messing up the colors!?
ty!! enjoyed the tutorial! do you find that there’s a bias/skew with this stitch and how would you minimise it? I realised that I cant fold my blanket perfectly cos its slanted on the diagonal.
Hi love the stitch, question would this work for a c2c graphgan.
Thank you for this video, it was very easy to follow. You’re also the first maker I’ve seen that hold their yarn the same way I do 🙂
In the video after you finish your drawing, the screen says section 1 decrease on both sides. Isn’t that supposed to say section 1 increase on both sides?

What size was your blanket yo u made?
How would i go about changing colors?

Super easy once you figure out where the chain one space is!
@daisy cottage designs. How many rows did you do for each color? Thanks
Any suggestions? Crocheting section 1 and my work is fanning out. It is not square.

🥰😍🤩🤩🤩🥰😇love 💘 going to do this one.
I really found that very interesting, I t really made sence
Hello! Is it possible to use the C2C moss stitch to build a graphgan picture or would the picture look fuzzy/wonky? I don’t want the holes that the double crochet creates x
maybe try the modern c2c stitch that uses ch5, ch2 instead of the usual ch6, ch3? the holes are significantly smaller in modern c2c squares
How many rows did you do of each color?
I love your pattern. But the slide at minute 3.36 says Section 1 both sides. I think that should say INCREASE both sides.
Yayyy I got It thank you for this tutorial!!🙋🏽♀️😍😍😍😍
What size is the blanket in the video?
Is there somewhere I can get the written pattern for this free?
There is: daisycottagedesigns.net/moss-stitch-crochet-c2c-tutorial/
Beautiful stitch! Is there a left handed version available?
How do you turn your rectangle into a square
If you watch the beginning of the video she explains in detail how to make a rectangle and how to make a square.
Is the first slide incorrect? Shouldn't it say increase on both sides?
Totally! 🤣🤣 I didnt even notice while watching it!
Thank you!

I had a problem finding the first ch 1 sp. I used a stitch marker at the beginning. As the blanket grows, ch 1 sp is easier to find. 😁
Maybe in the first rows... Afterwards I would say is quite easy! 😊
