Thanks so much for adding information about what happens to it when it is heated! I live in Phoenix, AZ where temperatures in summer can reach 120f (48c) or more. I can’t tell you how many makeup products I have accidentally lost because I melted them in my car! I would love to see this information on other makeup breakup episodes 🌡

Years ago when I repressed my broken face powder, I mixed in some rose water and hyaluronic acid. It turned out in the same funny bouncy texture and would not deflate.

Why were you guys like disappointed when it was lower than what the package said. The thing with makeup brands is there not gonna put the exact amount of product like if it is 9.82 there not gonna put that on the packaging there gonna round the number up to 10 just because it looks better than having a decimal

It's kind of like when you run your foot against the floor of a lake or river, when all the sediment expands. Once removed from it's original pan, makeup tends to expand. That's probably why it was acting like tectonic plates.
