Very good rocking mechanism. All my rocking santas have bad movement and I can't see why. I have opened them may times and they're still bad. How much did yours cost?

Split 9 tooth motor shaft gear, perhaps. Have you checked that? If that isn't the problem, have you messed with a speed dial that could be in there?

@@mrhenry5488 I tried everything even the speed dial and changed the gears. Nothing works still. For now they are display pieces

@@bozo1118 Huh, that’s a very strange issue. I wish I could help you. I’ve had 2 of these rocking Santa’s and neither of them would rock unless they were on a perfectly smooth, flat, level surface.
