I truly believe that after hanging out with Johnny Brennan for the first time at Big Apple New York city comic con on 3-11-17 , he is absolutely the funniest guy I have ever met. Thank you Johnny Brennan.
Man. My dear friend, Mitch Hirsch, and I used to quote Rizzo all day at work. Mitch loved Jerky Boys. The lockdown last summer was a little much for him to handle. Mitch didn’t make it but we still laugh at all the funny shit he used to say. Especially, Sol Rosenberg and Frank Rizzo. Mitch could do those voices so well and he always kept us smiling no matter how shitty work got. RIP Mitch Hirsch. Thanks for the laughs, Sizzle Chest.
The improv skill and character creation of this guy cannot be understated. "I've got tricks and trinkets and what not. I jump around with dogs on the stage. I bring in a little chipmunk and a monkey beat them into oblivion. The crowd seems to love this."
Johnny is a PURE Genius. My friends and I still quote Jerky Boys lines to each other to this day that we heard 30+ years ago. And It's STILL FUNNY!! God Bless you, Johnny. You have changed people's lives for the better with your comedic voices and we will ALWAYS be grateful!!!!!!!
100% with you! Johnny’s words are a part of my daily language. He and I became friends thanks to Facebook, and I’ve told him countless times how much he’s influenced my life, and how much joy and laughter he’s given me and so many others. He’s such a good dude.
I remember in college in the police were breaking up our outdoor party while the jerky boys were blasting on our outdoor speakers. They actually stuck around for a while laughing their asses off.
My eyes is going crazy! I’ll bring all my shoes and my glasses, that way I’ll have them. I went to the empire observatory I CANT SEE GODDAMN IT Such a huge fan. Have been since I was a kid in the early 90’s. I still have every album and laugh like a lil girl until I cry every time I listen to this day. Johnny and Kamal have made me laugh more and harder than anyone or anything else in existence, BOTTLENOSE She calls me liver neck and rubber neck and this is very sentimental for her, thank you
I love the Jerkey Boys and got several of my friends and family to listen to them. I agree-it is the funniest thing I've ever heard and I never get tired of it. I had one of my friends who was listening to the 2nd Jerky Boy tape, told me he had to pull off the road because he was laughing so hard. He'd never heard of them before, but is now a huge fan.
The first time I listened was in class junior year in the mid 90s. Someone brought a tape in to listen to and there we heard Frank Rizzo! I’ll never forget how much I laughed that day.
Johnny Brennan's a genius and I want to meet him and tell him as a kid he changed my life and was so hilarious with those calls. He never broke character and was always funny
I worked in a woodshop and a metal shop. The Jerky Boys were in regular rotation (as they say in radio.) The Frank Rizzo blue collar gags were the shop favorites, for obvious reasons. Face masks? We call them "shit breathers" tuff guy.

I hope John Brennan isn't losing interest in Family Guy. First they killed off his character Horace in Season 11 and Mort has been getting underused in the last couple of seasons.
Ha ha ha. I can be so sad or have something really rough happen, and I can get some relief within minutes without taking a drug. I just listen to these calls and for that few minutes I can get some relief from the hard times I have to go through. I love the Jerky Boys. I always have. Through out life I got by with these calls.
This guy Johnny Brennan is a true legend. I remember hearing Howard Stern listening to the Jerky Boys tapes on the air and laughing like a disarmed child. That's how I heard about them on Stern. Then, I bought their cassette tape. Cassette tapes kids, were something to play audio on. Google it. Anyway, after the cassette that I wore out playing it in my Walkman........ kids Walkman were...... you know what Google that too. Anyway, I eventually bought their VHS of the Jerky Boys doing skits on Times Square. Kids VHS were big boxes to hit your brother on the head when they got on your nerves. And that is how I became a lifelong fan of both of the Jerky Boys. Watch all their videos on TH-cam people. Just search Jerky Boys.
I remember bracing myself when I bought the Jerky tapes back in the day. I almost passed out on their first listen. This guy had Frank Rizzo call a piano tuner to get his Rottweiler out of the piano wires: Brennan should have gotten the Nobel.
I met Johnny at a convention a few years ago, totally down to earth guy. Really funny and I enjoyed talking to him. I have a ton of great memories of listening to his genius material. Wish he was more successful.
It's not just Johnny's voices. It's all the witty stuff he comes up with on the spot. My buddy and I still text each other all the time with "Ya do, huh? I'm real proudaya."
It'd be great if they made a weekly Jerky boys related animated series. About a fictional town with all their classic characters.......Sol, Frank Rizzo, Jack Torse, Bad ass Bob the cattle Rustler, The Egyptian magician etc, etc.
I heard the Jerky Boys on radio and bought their cassette tape. About this time my son was a better than average baseball player at 14. I made him a deal if he kept his grades at least an A or B's I would pay for him to get battling lessons from a semi pro player along with other semi pros that gave lessons. We had to make a one hour trip one way to get to the club on Saturdays. I introduced my son to the Jerky Boys on those drives down and back. Today my son is an ER doctor and when we get together Frank Rizzo is not far away.
Sol Rosenberg @ 1:56 - OMG, classic! Replayed that part countless times and was rolling!! For so many years I have privately wondered who the real men were behind these voices, but never looked into it for some reason. Finally nice to see the face that goes with one of my favorite Jerky Boys characters, Sol! "So, should I bring all my shoes and my glasses". Loved it!!
I was a professional musician, and on the road much of the 80s and 90s. We always listened to TJBoys in our hotel room and just cried tears. They were therapy for weary musicians away from our families. "your friends, your neighbors....might have these articles for you to see............
Haha. Glad to see a face to match the voice. I remember having the bootleg when I lived in Maui in 1991 or 1992. It still hurts my stomach when I listen.

I listened to Jerky Boys in the 90's for hours on end. Absolutely hilarious. It never gets old.
MrSlyxx, I still listen to the Jerky Boys and his new album is awesome !!!
Me and Buddy in HS back in the late 90’s would drive around town at night, chase girls, and listen to these CD’s non stop. Great times.
