That star eviction is one of my biggest problems with this game. Like seriously I want to be able to collect several stars at once! What's even worse is that they know how to make it work with 100 coin stars but don't do that to the rest of the stars.
If I could time travel, I'd 100% upload content like this to see how the SM64 superfans would lose their shit, especially the ones that legit believed Luigi was in the game.
I think the concensus is that it needs to be improved. I can't like this video. But hopefully we do get a video featuring improvements that I can like.

I believe it would have been, but it came out 18 years ago. Back then they didn't make games co op as much as they do nowadays.
Then everyone would want to be player 1.
the game has a multiplayer mode, but you just compete for the most stars by when the time runs out

omg, WHY must EVERYONE exit the stage when ONE person collects ONE star?! You can all collect separate stars and make things go a lot faster
We only did this with important missions. Like King Bob-Omb, Whommp, etc... In later gameplay we split out (in the levels)
They didn't ALWAYS do that, they only did for when new things needed to be added like Koopa The Quick.
