The ending beat of this song FEELS liminal. Like this is the instant you're leaving good friends behind and will never see them in this world again. Sure, you can boot the game back up, but you're just reliving your memories. Peach's cake remains unbaked, the adventure in progress. There are three cups of tea, and Lakitu just left.

I can’t say how much I truly appreciate this game. It was made with the best of intentions; total freedom. And Mario’s “thank you” at 9:19 might be the most genuine ending to a video game ever. Nothing but love for Mario 64 ❤
@@Harus7 I dont have a Switch but your save file may be corrupted, it’s a very common problem with 3d all-stars. If you install the games on the console, deleting and reinstalling will solve your problem. But before doing it, look Google, there may be a solution

This is what HD remasters should be imo. Enhanced graphics/textures, 60 fps, and widescreen. Don't need to use unreal engine 4 and make it unrecognizable. Hell, they even got the physics and camera correct.
Woah, this actually looks legit! Not like one of those terrible Unreal Engine mods that everyone pretends to like, but in reality wouldn't touch. This looks like a suitable, playable update.
This remaster of the game is fantastic! Now I understand the Nintendo probably wanted 64 to be more like the original version when they released it on the 3-D All-Stars, but it still would’ve been nice if they came out with a remaster like this. Sunshine and Galaxy were still the same which really isn’t a bad thing considering Nintendo get those two titles right the first time. They definitely did a good job at 64 in the 90s, but it would’ve been really cool to see a remastered version like this. It would’ve put the DS remastered to shame.
I've played this game so many times over the years, so ingrained in my brain, that this high res, high frame-rate, smoother polygon version is really messing with me, lol
the ending cutscene is simply too good, the music fits the vibe perfectly, at 6:24 Mario looks at you, breaking the 4th wall, it's like he's saying "you did it" then the levels/maps are shown, , making you remember the most difficult parts and the fun you had with them, The best part is when the music fades away and it says "Thank you, the end" with mario saying: "Thank you so much for playing my game" it truly shows you that the game was made with love and passion
Not so sure if the return of our favorite 3D Mario games will be the same in graphics or remade to match with the ones from Super Mario Odyssey, but I am super-hyped to play them all again on the Nintendo Switch.

Honestly bringing Mario 64 to the level of its higher quality 3d promos is such a better idea for a remake then using modern Mario graphics
