- This is Paschalis Chatzimarkos´ Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX, one of Greece´s Fastest Hillclimb Monsters, powered by a 700+Hp 4G63 Engine, weighing only 1150Kg and a proper 6-Speed Paddle actuated Sequential Gearbox. But most of all it is a tremendously well driven machine, as we can see here at Kimi HillClimb, with Mr. Chatzimarkos taking it by the scruff of the neck and really showing how far it can be taken...

Just makes you realise how much input and effort the driver puts in when it looks fast from the outside in hillclimb events. What an amazing build that Evo is
That Lancer has straight up racecar interior.
It’s one of those legendary possessions, you know.
The whole vehicle is priceless, there’s too much money put into it to ever get the accumulated amount in return. Fantastic. Looks fun as hell.
If someone was to be defined as a master artist of handling an EVO , i would define this dude. Mad respect for that brilliant handling.

Kimi is one of my favourite hillclimbs. That fast - almost flat - left hander K7 and the jump are my two favourite spots to watch. Needless to say that Chatzimarkos and his Evo are always spectacular through those parts.

Not sure exactly what it is, but there's something about 2.3 stroker 4Gs in particular that I just really like. 2.3 liters just seems *right* for some reason. Hillclimb monster, indeed; this Evo's a beast.

I've kinda learned that these guys that are this talented at driving on dangerous roads and even the guys who run in the Isle Of Man TT races,...all have a characteristic in common. They are prepared to die on the day. They know and accept that safety equipment guarantees nothing in this setting. It's truly incredible watching them operate in that paradigm.
Such a crazy powerful Evo is always one of the fastest cars on the hillclimb, especially when the driver can push it to the limit! 😁

The fact that the engine is a 2.3L i4 with 700+ hp is f*cking insane. That's basically a SAAB aero engine trimmed into oblivion.
4g63 is a fucking tank of engine block
This is the best sounding car I've ever heard. I've watched this video several times in a row. Wow. Beautiful. Perfect sound. I love this. Definitely a goal to have sound that unique and the performance along with it.

You can do your hillclimbing game in Assetto Corsa you can grab any time attack/downhill/uphill/touge and there are thousands of cars to race in

I agree with what others said, assetto corsa is the best game I've played for hillclimbs. Literally hundreds are out there that you can download. And you can find anything from hillclimb evos, to old gr 2 mini coopers, to hurrican st hillclimb spec, to radicals and normas. My favorite is the monster energy rs200. If you get a computer to handle it, without a doubt get assetto corsa. Just beware its a rabbit hole, you will get obsessed and wind up wasting hundreds of hours tweaking graphics, downloading cars, sorting files, and veery very rarely occasionally you will actually turn on the game and play it lmao.
