this man never ceases to amaze me with his talent and the extreme ease at which he does some of the most awesome things on a steel. Thanks for sharing it.
a truly different approach to a favorite number of many musicians and listeners as well. I personaly haven't heard anything Joe has done that I didn't like. very creative. Carry on Joe. Thanks.Bob Payne.
This year at the TSGA convention in Irving Tx I met Joe for the very first time. I ask him when he would be playing on stage and informed me he was not invited to play. Why not let the people who love him make that decision , It was not right to have one of the best players of all time just be seated as a spectator. Best of Luck Joe you are loved by many and so is Doug.
Damn Hippies!! ;-) lol Joe is totally cool...!! Can play his steel, any way HE, feels like. Rocky Top...to the hardest rock, anywhere!! A "Master." Joe...you should play at the SWSGA show, in Phoenix, Arizona!! Why don't you? I know, the audience would love you. With the exception of the "If it ain't country crowd." IQ's usually around 60. Rock On!!
he can take a really boring song and run with it.. I like the second part where he uses the fuzz. you gotta see my videos of some of the people I produce more to come in the future.Patricio
